Utterly rubbish

Big fat useless sham
If I could rate this shambolic organization less than 1 I would because I don't even think they deserve one star. I know Ireland is 10 years behind the rest of the world on EVERYTHING, but this is getting beyond a joke. Used to be able to print new leap cards in the DCU SU on campus, which is handy for someone like me who loses every card I have (I've had about 7 leap cards at this stage), but for some idiotic reason they got rid of this service and you now have to order new or replacement cards online, which of course takes about 2 weeks to be posted to you. If you online shop and its coming from the other side of the bleeding world it arrives faster! And not to mention the buses don't take card payment for fares so I have to go around my house looking for spare change down the sides of the couches and under the beds so I can get on the bus. I'd love to know what all the money that's allocated to this place in the budget goes because it doesn't go to towards technological advances, sure up until about 6 months ago you still had to top up your card in a shop you couldn't even do it online! Shocking shocking shocking.
Can't get a refund on a lost card and…
Can't get a refund on a lost card and also cannot replace it. Customer Service is non existent, they close the chats without even answering.
Top up system is a total garbage through the app.

Non existent customer service. Website won't let me cancel a lost card and get a refund. Have been waiting 2 months for refund. Customer service is completely useless, and never follow up on anything. They keep saying it will be done, but here I am 2 months later and still waiting.
Top up App a waste of people's time
I found it impossible to log in by my phone, Ipad, or computer. Every review said the same thing as me, nobody seems to be even able to log in. Apps like these are a waste of people's time.

Two stars because if you're lucky, sometimes you are at least able to log in into your account, even though from there an error page will appear as soon as you try to change the menu
Probably the worst website experience…
Probably the worst website experience I've ever had. Absolutely no clear way to login to account without creating a new one, saved password and username errors, just an error page when asked for help logging in, no customer support. This was all after I had put money onto my card and was told I had a low balance at the FIRST USE. Money was taken from my account, so where is it?
Terrible website!!!
Terrible! Been trying to order Visitor Leap cards. The server got stuck several times. When I finally got as far as the 3D secure payment site, I entered my card data and sent it, then got an error message ("Object reference not set to an instance of an object"). HELLO???
Shocking system
Shocking system. Card got blocked because I changed bank cards. Leap card gets blocked. However there is €39 on the card. For me to get a refund I need to pay €30 auto top up and then send the card back to have it unblocked. They will send it back in 3-5 working days and only then can I ask for a refund. It is a joke. I have contacted them to ensure this is actually their process but no reply! Leap card need to cop on. Ridiculous service!
Lost my card which I had just topped up…
Lost my card which I had just topped up by€30 reported it lost/stolen used by thief got a new card with only €18 credit on it not the first time either lost €16 on another card thief continued using my remaining credit then topped it up when I tried to report it my account disappears also found it cheaper to buy return ticket than use leap
Zero customer service team
Zero customer service team. Leap card took a €20 payment from my account. Filled in complaint form twice, both times got a reply telling me to refer to FAQs which state that any monies not added to a card will be refunded to my account within 3-5 days. I'm still out of pocket a month later.
