Premium price, budget service: Do not trust L'Atelier Forte for custom orders
I ordered two custom lab coats as gifts for two different doctors, explicitly stating two separate names in the order details. L'Atelier Forte embroidered both coats with the exact same name. When contacted, they admitted their team made an "assumption," yet they expected me to pay international return shipping out of pocket to correct their own mistake.To make matters worse:Damaged Condition: The shipment arrived in mangled boxes, and the premium lab coats were visibly dirty from poor handling.Misleading Marketing: The final products did not match the premium aesthetic advertised on their website.Ignored Communication: Multiple follow-up emails went completely unanswered.Insulting Resolution: Instead of replacing the ruined items, they offered a $100 gift card to a store I will never buy from again.For a brand that positions itself as a luxury medical apparel company, their operations and customer care are worse than budget fast-fashion sites. Do not be fooled by their Instagram aesthetic—they take zero ownership when they fail to deliver. Avoid this company.

Overall, my experience with L'Atelier was okay. The jumpsuit I ordered was of great quality, and I've received compliments on it. However, there were two issues that brought down the otherwise great service. One of the items I received was not the item I ordered, which was disappointing. As well as this, the three items I ordered were smushed together in a package so small that I initially thought just one thing had arrived. At least with the latter issue, I assume this was done simply because I ordered from Ireland, so perhaps it was done to make posting more affordable. Overall, I would order again based on the quality of the clothes, but just not the best initial experience with the company.

Do not buy from this company. They take forever to respond. Give you a return address then don’t refund your Monday. They received my return 3rd January. Still not even has confirmation. They just ignore emails. Dint waste your time.
Returns impossible
I received two of the same article and although I am happy with one of them I asked for help to return the second sent in error. I am still waiting after numerous emails! A scam. They have no intention of helping with returns.

I bought some shoes from the store on the 20th August using their free shipping. I appreciate that it may take a while for them to arrive. But i emailed the company asking if they had any updates on the shipment and they have yet to respond to me. Poor customer service. I hope that the parcel arrives soon

A different dress arrived to that which I ordered. Have tried to get a refund/email the company but both email addresses bounce back as they are not in use. I suspect there is a scam here. Beware.

My coat sizing was too small
My coat sizing was too small. I wanted to return but their policy is that we have to email them first within the 14 days I did it the same day I got my parcel but got no response I sent several emails no response. It states not to return any item until they respond so now have an item which is wrong size. Basically they ignore you once you have purchased from them. Would never recommend them.

I have ordered a dress and requested a returns label as it does not look like the image on the website…I received an automated email saying that my return was being reviewed and that I will receive another email with returns label which I have not received…is this a scam company??
Using a fake video
Avoid this company, they a scamming customers, and are using a fake video belonging to someone else claiming to be selling a Zara blazer coat.
When it arrived it’s a cheap poorly made copy, that is I incorrectly sized. When I contacted them they offered a refund if I return the coat to china but it would cost as much as the coat did, but they could offer me a 20% refund and a 20% voucher for the shop.
I told them to keep the voucher and give me my refund, but they should refund the whole amount as it is false selling.
A month later, 5 emails, no refund and totally ignored.
Scammers!!!

I’ve never received the dress
I’ve never received the dress, and after writing several emails and Instagram messages and comments, I can confidently say there is zero customer service here. I ordered a dress for my wedding reception and all this gave me useless stress.
I haven't received my package.

Bad experience so far
Bad experience so far. Ordered a dress on 3/6, never received an email that it was shipped. So I emailed them on 3/12 and 3/13 to ask what’s the hold up. They haven’t responded (it’s 3/15). Still don’t know what’s going on with my order from 9 days ago.

L'Atelier, more than just a retailer!
I ordered the dress through a third party but needed a different size..... which they didn't have! I went directly to L'Atelier and they did have my size! Sadly the dress had a faulty zip, so returned it. The customer service and attention to detail was second to none and I felt it was personalised rather than a generic email or chatbot.
I now have the gorgeous dress and absolutely love it. Thankyou so much Karoline and team.I'll absolutely be back!
