We had very bad experience with this…
We had very bad experience with this company regarding an EICR assessment recently. As a reviewer noted in February, I wish I had read the reviews first.
Anyway, in mid April, we paid Landlord Certificate London and arranged for an EICR assessment. The electrician came on 20 April. He ignored my husband's greetings, just opened the electrical board, took a quick look, closed it, went to the kitchen check one socket, and then just left. The whole operation was no more than 5 minutes. He was rude, arrogant and totally ignored my husband when the poor man first tried to greet him and then tried to ask some questions. A couple of days later. The company sent us their EICR Report with a big 'UNSATISFACTORY' and a big Quote of £650 for the so called 'remedial work' and they keep sending me the same quote every 2-3 days since then.
As the owner, I witnessed the EICR assessment for the same house twice in 2018 and 2014, by separate companies. Each time, it took about 30 minutes. And, we passed comfortably each time. There has been no regulation changes in recent years; we have no electrical problems at all in the house. Now, after paying to another company (more established and reputable) we have passed again and got our certificate after the assessment from a very experienced, very nice and professional electrician. It took this electrician 35/40 minutes to complete the job.
I called Landlord Certificate London and complained about the electrician, only to find them very defensive - they simply refused to listen. So, useless.

Our EICR inspections are carried out by qualified electricians in accordance with current industry standards and regulations. The duration of an inspection can vary significantly depending on the property's size, layout, accessibility, and the condition of the electrical installation. Comparing inspection times from previous years or different contractors is not always a reliable indicator of the quality or validity of an assessment.
Where observations are identified during an inspection, they are documented in the report, and any remedial quotations provided are entirely optional. Customers are under no obligation to use our services for remedial works and are free to obtain independent quotations or second opinions, as you chose to do.
We also reject the suggestion that our company engages in dishonest practices. We have built our reputation on providing professional compliance services and assisting thousands of landlords and homeowners across London and the UK.
We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations and wish you all the best moving forward.

Landlord Certificate London conducted 2 CP12s for me, and the first one was issued slightly late which I was disappointed about considering I paid up front but as I wasn't there for the appointment, I was unsure for the next one. The 2nd one I was present for and the gas engineer was amazing. Very thorough, professional and courteous. He issued a hand written copy and the office issued the digital one. The gas engineer is certified so issued certificates are verified. Will use again.
