Mark is great, he is methodical, takes time to spend with all the students at the class and is a high level grappler himself.

Been attending classes since Oct' 23' and wont be stopping anytime soon!

I went along to a free trial session, all the guys were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Time was taken to make me feel at ease and it was a really interesting couple of hours, there's so much more to it than you first imagine. A really fun and productive way to get in shape AND learn how to protect yourself.

I can’t recommend Mark and Kraken submission grappling enough! As someone completely new to jiu jitsu everyone made me feel really welcome. Mark is an excellent teacher, explaining things in a thorough and detailed way. The sessions are great fun and I come away from them feeling positive and motivated, and having learnt lots. All the people are fantastic, and I always look forward to my jiu jitsu sessions each week! Thank you :)

Great vibe and really friendly crowd. After my first session at kraken Submission wrestling I can already say Mark has completely changed my outlook on jiu jitsu and taught me the pssibilities into progressing in the sport. A new age thinker in no gi bjj and a real inspiration. I'll be coming back again!

Amazing place to learn BJJ, always feel welcome and at home as soon as you walk in. Mark is an amazing teacher who works with everyone as a group but will individually work with anyone who may be struggling. Would highly recommend if you want to learn quick and well as his way of teaching is very clear and will always run back over anything you have any questions about. Very professional and hygienic environment and can always have a laugh with both students and teacher. 5*

Having been involved in mixed martial arts for 7years, I have trained at numerous grappling clubs, but Kraken submission grappling is by far the best overall no gi jiu jitsu club I have attended. Coach Markus's unique perspective on this form of martial art is refreshing, and for me the main thing is it actually works! In the fundamentals classes the techniques are broken down simply to give people with zero experience the best platform to get the technique correct and in the most efficient way.
Brilliant club from beginner to fully experienced competitor. Looking forward to training here again very soon.

Having no knowledge of Jiu Jitsu prior to this class I didn't quite know what to expect. It turns out to be a lot of fun and a great workout. It is a very friendly atmosphere. Mark is excellent at teaching and explaining the aspects of this martial art. His passion and excitement for passing on his knowledge is catching. While it is fun, invigorating, and quite the workout; it is safe, skilful, and well organised. He is patient in his teaching and eager for his students to attain goals they never imagined.

I've recently started training at Kraken Submission Grappling. I've been really impressed with the instruction I've received. Markus breaks down movements into bite size components. The classes are always good fun, other team members are friendly and the facility is clean and practical. Highly recommend coming along for a class!

The best Jiu Jitsu School in Cambridgeshire.

I was initially nervous, not having done anything like Jiu Jitsu before, (i joined the ladies only class) but Mark patiently talked us through the warm ups and drills and after just a little bit of giggling we were picking up the techniques and executing them on each other. It was awesome fun. This uses muscles you never knew you had!
