Phishing, Copyright and Trademark
Initial view, the site is identical to another reputable exchange which is not allowed to be mentioned here. This exchange which is a reputable crypto exchange is not related to kottrade.com which is fraudulent. It is clearly a potential copyright and potential trademark infringement of this site. Not only this but people could mistakenly log into this fake site.
Pump and Dump SCAM
The site, however, is part of a pump and dump scam. If you have been contacted on a group to join a pump and dump and wondering what the scam is then you are at the right place. You will have to deposit crypto with this site. The pump and dump ONLY works with this site and this site just in a fake way pumps the price and you sell your crypto. You can do this each day with the group. And then you will go to withdraw, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO WITHDRAW.
Domain Name
This domain was registered days ago and yet if you read their about page it says it has been around for years. Further domain owner has in the last month used the following domains for the same site shenbit, bitswet, trezbit, trezxbit, Auecoin, trahbit, wixybit, ebalabit, loot-trade, fastxbit, vdulbit, shaubit, coinecrypt, coinercrypt, coinderix, kottrade and lyablyabit.
Please do a few searches before using it but please note the scammer also has started at least 2 fake news domains that look similar to cointelegraph and investing dot com.
