Square needles are the way to go! Absolutely even stitches no matter how poorly my fingers are behaving (I have arthritic, trigger fingers, gnarly ones and a couple that don't bend well any more). I've been slowly replacing my old metal, plastic and bamboos for more than a year and won't stop until my needle files are nothing but Kollage!

Kollage is the finest brand of hook I have ever tried, and I've been crocheting for about 50 years! The machining of the metal is absolutely smooth, no snags, no funny spots. The throat is even, and the point at the top of the head makes joining rounds so easy! Also, the ergonomic square handle makes it so much easier to crochet for long stretches without hand tension.

I read up about these square needles. I read all the great reviews. So I decided why not! I have been knitting all my life and I will be 60 this year!
