It was so easy to place an order for these lovely warm jackets that I wound up eventually buying two. Besides just being beautiful they are so comfortable and cozy.

After receiving my hanten and being unimpressed with the quality given what I paid, I came here to see other reviews (should have done that first). I just searched on AliExpress and indeed found my exact hanten for a fraction of the price. I'll probably still wear it, there's nothing actually wrong with it, but the materials are cheap and it's not the authentic Japanese product they lead you to believe. Definitely not worth the price, and it's clear they are purposefully misleading customers.

I literally went to Japan in hopes of finding a Hanten, ready to spend, but it was not easy to find!! Kimonoji was on my radar before my trip, but I thought I would try to find what I was looking for in Japan. I was unable to, and when I returned from my trip, I was definitely short on coin not only was there a killer sale going on but when I asked my best friend about it who actually is Japanese she was excited because her father had worn down his old Hanten to rags! It was a great deal and everyone who received one was pleased with the quality. I will definitely be ordering more pieces in the future. Also, I’m not a small woman. Easily a size 18 in American sizes. It fits me and it fits my best friend who’s a size 8. Truly one size fits all regardless of height or width. Her father is 6 foot two.

I live in my padded jacket and so do my /sister in laws brother and fiend I got one ach for - cozy and in style!

I am so very satisfied with my purchase of a Aonami Hanten padded Jacket . Its very well made comfortable and stylish for use at home or a quick trip to the corner store . I was keeping an eye out for a good hanten for a while and then I found the company on an instagram ad. I bought one at a fair price and it arrived in reasonable time. It keeps me warm, and especially keeps my bad shoulder warm on rainy days. I love the rabbit and plum blossoms print on mine and the 3/4 sleeves make it easier to do things around the house. There are two large side pockets that are very much appreciated for carrying around my phone and other small necessities around the house.

5 stars I think they’re under selling their self The product and Customer Service they deserve 10 stars. I’m very picky and one of the most important things is the quality of the material and they hit it out of the ball park with home run on the quality it’s phenomenal, It’s so comfortable that I want to stay in it all day and just lounge around the house, the material is not heavy or uncomfortable. The beauty of the material is at nighttime it conforms to your body and it’s breathable lightweight on your body and it’s so comfortable. I sleep so peacefully and wake up so relaxed ready for the next day. If you have not purchased Shinku Samue and you’re thinking about it don’t hesitate. Again I can’t say enough BUT only one thing GET IT You won’t regret it’s well worth it. I ordered several Shinku Samue and I’m going buy more as soon as they get more colors like red and inner mix their patterns on the lapels. . Again five stars Way too low. It’s a 10. I recently ordered three hanten from Kimonoji, and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. They arrived beautifully packed, clean, and in perfect condition. From the moment I put one on, I was impressed by how comfortable and warm they are.

Wearing them actually brought back memories of my obachan and the housecoat she always wore around the house. There’s something really special about a well-made traditional garment, and these have that same cozy comfort.

I bought 3 pieces, 2 kimino and 1 koi No Taki Hanten. i love them so much ! The Hanten is really warm soft inside. The pattern in the back outside is really interesting and nice it's far from a displeasure. aIt keep warm, i feel free to move with it it have no constraints i am absolutely happy !

For the Kimono silk dress the experience is unique for me.... I never did wear silk before.. The touch of it is so incredible ! It's really al long and it give alot of choice for how you want adjust between fully tight or with some gap having a unique size make it really nice and i am happy to wear it everyday at home !

my deepest regret it's to not be able to buy more pieces... Next time if i have a chance i will buy more haten and more kimono for different designs and patterns.

All I can say is have a look at the EXACT jackets from AliExpress for a fraction of the price. Their clothing labels even come with the random labels seen on Aliexpress and not 'Kimonoji'.

Firstly thank God for the algorithm that lead me to Kimonoji, because of that I was able to purchase the Shinku Samue Set. I'm impatient sometimes with online orders, but with Shopify and Kimonojis team, the order was swift and perfect. I was updated towards the process of the order and it gave me a peace of mind. I'll definitely and certainly order again from Kimonoji in the future.

My experience was top notch. The sales team caught an error in my order and instantly contacted me to ensure I had truely selected 1 item the same color. That is excellent customer service. Jenny reached out to me via email and made the correction. My delivered items were correct. I must also comment on the quality of the items. Smooth fabric perfect for lounging and bed time. My family members has already requested set's for their birthday. I will be placing another order soon. The funny part is I'm not sure what country or State the product came from as I didn't question it based on a speedy and traceable delivery. More than 5 Star's.
