Excellent
The girls are amazing there, very friendly, caring and knowledgeable about each breed and pups. The puppies all looked clean, well looked after and healthy. Great place. Would highly recommend for your perfect fur baby
Older pups
Went to look at some older pups at Kelly’s kennels and ended up bringing Benni the Maltichon home the same day! The whole experience was amazing with the help of choosing the pup, the starter pack and the help once pup was home. Always there at the end of the phone with advice and I would recommend anyone to visit Kelly’s to see their adorable pups
Wish I could give 6 stars
Amazing experience here! Got my puppy on Saturday, little Mabel the cavapoo. It was a little busy but that didn’t stop the staff making sure we had a 11/10 experience- they were lovely and polite and went above and beyond for us. Couldn’t fault them at all! I have a healthy happy furry baby now and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks again Kellys Kennels for my gorgeous girl!

Absolutely wasn’t planning on bringing Billy our puppy home. Planned to go for a little look and nothing more. Lots of cuddles and help from staff resulted in buying him and bringing him home the same day. Settled very well and is loved by all. Thank you Kelly kennels
PUPPY FARMING
Please look up @puppylovecampaigns on instagram before you consider buying a puppy from here, the first pinned post exposes where the puppies come from.
Reduced section for puppies over 3.5 months is just abhorrent, treating puppies like commodities that have sell by dates.
Selling the younger puppies for thousands of pounds. Puppies shipped over from Northern Ireland, their mothers left behind to continue to be over bred, there is no excuse for establishments like this. They can say they are not a puppy farm and they are a breeding establishment, they can say they care about the wellbeing of puppies and dogs yet they actively contribute and profit from the overpopulation and unethical breeding of puppies.
They manipulate poor animal welfare regulations to respond to negative reviews in an attempt to cover up that this is a glorified puppy mil.
Gorgeous cute puppies
Wasn’t expecting to buy a puppy but couldn’t resist the little black Yorkie poo. He is adorable, so friendly and is fitting in perfectly in my home, service from the girls at Kelly’s has been good so far. They provided food and all the documents and have contacted me to see how he is settling in. I am very happy so far.

Purchased a puppy April 2023
Purchased a puppy April 2023. Made 2 visits to Kelly’s to make sure we chose the right puppy for us. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. We found the kennels on our first visit calm & relaxing but on our second visit it was extremely busy which I found overwhelming (which is the only reason why I have not given 5 *) I’m sure some of the very young puppies would have too. I would recommend maybe introducing an appointment system during the most busier times. We noticed one puppy had sore eyes; once we brought this to the staff’s attention they dealt with it immediately, when we enquired about it’s health the following day we were reassured that it wasn’t anything serious but it would be treated by the vet and kept in the nursery for a week to recover. We are extremely happy with our puppy; this is our second dog from Kelly’s and they are both happy, healthy and very playful.
We love our cavapoo, Hate Kelly's Kennels
We love our cavapoo, she is lovely and has a great temperament although she absolutely loves people but is very wary of other dogs. We bought her beginning of 2022, born November 2021.
On a recent walk in the park, we go in there everyday, she panicked when a larger dog came up behind us and got her hind leg tangled in the lead and managed to dislocate her hip (I didn't know this at the time). She screamed in agony and I had to carry her home and get her to the vets asap, she was very distressed and underwent a procedure to relocate the hip, x-rays, sedation and anaesthesia etc. We were then advised that there was evidence of hip dysplasia. Kelly's kennels should not be breeding animals with this hereditary condition. Anyway the hip did not stay in place and we had to have a further procedure to relocate and put her leg in a sling for 10 days in order for the hip to heal back in place. This again failed due to the weak hip disposition.
We opted for invasive surgery, a toggle to keep the ball in the socket, touch wood this seems to have helped so far but it's early days (had the op only last week) she's not insured (our bad) and so far we've spent over £3,300.
She also had a cracked puppy tooth (fang), found when we took her to the vets for her booster jab. Kelly's kennels were told but denied any knowledge of this saying she was ok when we picked we up. Vet quoted £600 to sort but we opted to see how things went, her adult teeth are good so we saved her from unnecessary intervention.
All in all Kelly's kennels are a puppy farm and don't care about the dogs they are breeding.
Avoid buying from them, don't even go to look, you will end up buying an adorable puppy but the regrets will come later.
No compassion whatsoever, unfriendly experience.
I showed concern for one of the puppies that was shaking in the corner, picked the dog up and it's heart was absolutely racing.
I let the staff know and the blonde lady working who came over was extremely rude and looked at me as if I was stupid. There was no reassurance given whatsoever, snarled at me and walked off after saying "probably just scared because it's new here". 0 compassion shown, didn't bother even checking the puppy.
I then asked the younger staff member with dark hair, whether she was annoyed with me showing my concern, to which she replied no and walked away whilst texting.
2 stars because at least it was clean, even if there were so many puppies crammed into small spaces. Uncomfortable experience and the staff wouldn't go a miss with some training in people skills.
Owners are clearly just money makers and have no care for the puppies that they are breeding.
Positive experience
We bought our Cocker Spaniel Odie back in Jan from Kellys. We are so happy with him. He’s crate trained so easily, haven’t had a bad night with him. He’s lovely and sociable and getting on so well with his training. The girl that helped us was lovely and had cockers herself, you could see she really cared for the dogs so don’t let the negative views put you off. Kelly’s was really good for us as first time dog owners, we were so overwhelmed finding a breeder and knowing what questions to ask and what to look for. Thank you for our forever best friend!

This is a puppy farm Avoid!!!
This is a puppy farm Avoid!!!! They import all their dogs from Ireland. Go to a shelter instead where there are tons of dogs at risk of being euthanised!
My little man Alfie
i went to kelly’s kennels with my mum and found my little baby Alfie who is a Poochon. We picked him up on the 6th Jan. all the staff were so lovely, had time to explain everything i need to know. 100% would recommend
Lovely Poochon from Kelly’s kennels
We bought our Poochon from Kelly’s Kennels. All staff were caring towards the dogs, and constantly cleaning up. We arrived at a crazy busy time but in turn staff had time to tend to us and gave us information we needed. They arranged for us to spend time with her in a separate pen where we got to know her more. My daughter was in love ❤️ we arranged to collect her the week after as she wasn’t quite ready to leave. So happy we have our Rosie x

By luck I found Kellys Kennels on the internet. From the very first call to going to collect our puppy these people were first class. Incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Giving sound advice. We drove from London to collect her. Poppy has now settled in and the choice of a cavapoo was the right one for our family.
To all the staff at Kellys you should be incredibly proud of yourself. Because what you do you do very well indeed. I would honestly recommend you very highly.
A huge thank you from the Clarkson family.
An Early Birthday Present !!
We collected our King Charles Spaniel on Saturday.
Lovely dog friendly staff, who were very knowledgeable and so helpful.
" Bertie" was chipped and came with all the relevent information, food and puppy pads( we had only visited the kennels to have a look !!! )
Though at the time they were very busy, we still received excellent service and I would not hesitate to recommend Kelly's Kennels to any one looking for a beautiful puppy.
PS "Bertie" may need a sister to keep him company in the future..... we will be back xx

Please do not buy a puppy from this disgusting puppy farm. Stop putting money in these greedy breeders pockets. Do your research about this place. A quick google will show evidence of this being a puppy farm. They were even exposed on a bbc documentary!

We bought our beautiful cavapoochon from here.
She is amazing, she is a beautiful part of our family just as we wanted BUT when we got her home we took her to the vets, we were advised she had a umbilical hernia, and she would need to be spayed. How sad in a pup so young, the vet told us to contact Kelly as they shouldn’t breed the mum again. So we did contact them their response was “we will pay for it but when you buy from us, they are as pets not for breeding” well we had no intentions of breeding her, just sad she already had health condition at a couple of months old.
Then a few months later, her leg stated to displace out of its socket, so she would run and start limping until it could get in the correct position to slot back in.
The vet said it needing operating in as was quite severe, it cost us 1000s luckily we were insured but I’m not sure how they are claiming healthy dogs when out lovely little one has needed so many OPs before even 18months old.
We ignored all the comments bout it being a puppy farm, viewed the place it looked nice and clean but we Wish we would have listened although we wouldn’t change our Pup now, I’m annoyed I helped fund them. There is an article in the Belfast telegraph I think it is, that directly names Kelly’s kennel as getting its pups from their in Ireland. More research for our next pup definitely.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
We got one of our dogs a few years ago from Kelly’s. We didn’t get to see where the dogs were being kept (this was before the new kennels) and we couldn’t see the mother of the litter as were told she was ‘out on a walk’. We love our little one to bits and thankfully our pup was healthy so no issues on that front. Since then, we have spoken to a few people, some that purchased pups from Kelly’s (that had similar behavioural issues as our pup - nervous of other dogs/people, submissive) and some in the veterinary industry that told us they were a puppy farm. We were so upset when we realised our mistake. We thought that having a licence from the council and working closely with a vet meant everything was above board but having recently watched the BBC documentary ‘The Dog Factory’ it has shown us this really isn’t the case. We realise now that we should have done more research and went into it very naively. We have since expanded our canine family and decided to go with a different breeder, for obvious reasons. We got to see the parents/observe them interacting with the pups, they came from a really loving, stable family environment and we got to visit as many times as we wished (spending time with parents and pups together) - ask tons of questions as well as receiving paperwork. We did notice differences between the two in terms of confidence/development etc. We are glad to say after taking our first pup to lots of training classes and with a lot of love/patience and guidance - there has been a huge improvement. She is a very happy soul - still a bit standoffish with some people but I think considering, she has done us all proud. The training classes we attended and information we received from a dog behaviourist really helped and opened our eyes. I would say to others getting a puppy, please do thorough research and watch the BBC documentary called ‘The Dog Factory’. Don’t let these licences lull you into a false sense of security as we did. I hope someone finds this review helpful and prevents others making the same mistakes we did as first time dog parents. We would not go back to Kelly’s Kennels nor would we recommend them to anyone!
