Ordered the sleeveless Molly top in two sizes and kept them both as I love the shape, the wonderful weight of linen, the length and the collar - the perfect top ..

Great quality clothes, which arrive quickly. They are made ethically of lovely natural materials.

Having given them the benefit of the doubt re previous appalling customer service they have now gone one better on the 'appalling' scale. I have been waiting over a month for the refund on my return , which tracking shows they received on 24th July. I once again had to contact them - a refund was promised straight away, sadly still not received. They really do seem to like keeping your money. Would certainly not recommend - plenty of other retailers out there that care about their customers . If I could give zero stars I would.

Great clothes , excellent service

Dreadful quality on all but not apparent until you have washed them.
Initially delighted to find a company selling appealingly photographed garments albeit limited selection. However, I have had these less than two months and the fabric is already fraying, tearing in two items and stitching coming undone.
The tops I bought (molly, I think) were lovely when arrived, but after only two washes (hand wash, non-biological washing liquid, cool to cold water, no conditioner, drip drying on a hanger) the fabric is fraying, stitching coming apart and very thin areas on holding up to the light. I.e. unevenness of fabric quality where warp and weft are wearing through .
This is also the case on the jackets I bought. One now looks like something I’ve had for 2 or more years not the less than 2 months I’ve had it. These jackets were unlined and I followed the instructions on the washing label. The collar seams are frayed and fabric is disintegrating. The fabric has torn vertically in the middle of the back nowhere near a seam and not due to being too small or roughly handled. It just is poor quality fabric and poor stitching.
I have not had any response from the company, and considering the cost of items, cost of shipping and the fact that returns are also not free, I think this is a company to avoid.
Additionally, refunds for returned goods that were too long or too big have been very slow. I am still waiting.

The dress I ordered was the same style as a dress I had already purchased, and really love, but in a different fabric. When it arrived it was faulty with lining puckering up the outer fabric.
I contacted Kate Barton with photos and they replied that this is a common problem with this particular dress so I returned it because they could not guarantee that a replacement would be any different.
Then I received a refund less than the original price I paid which they say is for postage/delivery both ways. This was explained to me in a very short email when I complained.
This dress should never have passed quality control in the first place. Kate Barton really don’t seem to care about good customer service

A beautiful dress, so well designed and made, with lovely details (red lining in particular). Sadly it didn't suit me so had to be returned; refund organised very quickly. I highly recommend the clothing and the company's ethos.
