If I could give a ZERO I would. Don't be fooled by their name - Katenew-york - they are not even in the USA. Their products are GARBAGE and the customer service is BELOW PAR. They will NOT REFUND you your money - only store credit for MORE GARBAGE, then when you attempt to check out with your replacement garbage, there's a pop up that says "This store can't accept payments right now" ... since I would not be paying any additional money, I've asked this ridiculous company to check out on my behalf and they said, please wait for the website to process the payment. SUCH A CROCK, it's been 3 weeks! Sadly, my original purchase was accidental, I thought I was purchasing from Brandy Melville, may have been switch and bait - I kept an eye out for the order from Brandy Melville and similar looking pair of lounge pants arrived but they were cheap and nothing like what I had seen and intended on ordering. I finally tracked down where they came from, which was challenging, considering there wasn't a packing slip, no tag on them - nothing to identify where they came from. Shady company - BUYER BEWARE! These people are GROSS, taking your money! I reported them to Better Business Bureau - I hope this shop gets shut down!

If I could leave zero stars I would. DO NOT purchase from this company, I can't stress that enough. I purchased a dress was told it was no longer in stock after paying for it. I was on a time crunch and couldn't wait until it was back in stock so I asked, for what should be, a simply refund. 3 weeks later and constant back and forth with them saying that the refund was in process, they never returned my money. Let me be frank, that is called stealing. I contacted my CC company and fortunately I was able to claim fraud and they refunded the money. So again, ten out of ten recommend, do not purchase anything from this company they are absolutely untrustworthy and I can't believe they are still in business.

This company deserves less than one star for the level of their dishonesty. The quality of the their products is abysmal. The outfit I ordered was exactly what I was looking for, but was so disgustingly cheap I could never wear it- thin fabric, fraying thread, horrible stitching. It looks like I tried to make it myself which is saying something. It took so long to arrive that I forgot that I even ordered it. When I started the return, I had to first justify my reasoning in an email, then send photos, then choose and option for PARTIAL store credit for more low quality crap or return the parcel to China at my own expense. I chose the later out of principle and got an address to a factory in China in English, with the caveat that it might not arrive without the address also being translated into Chinese characters. WTF.

The owners of this company are scam artists, pure and simple, so don't fall for it. There are many other cheap fast fashion options out there if that's what you're looking for that won't rip you off. Don't give these people your money.

Bonjour, j'ai acheté début décembre 2025 un article que j'ai renvoyé car c'était trop petit depuis lors j'envoie des mails, on répond de patienter, dans un des derniers mail versement effectué ( cela va prendre de 3 à 5 jours) nous sommes le 28 Février 2026 et je n'ai toujours rien reçu !!! Questionable quality and return process. As apparently, customer satisfaction is not one of their key principles as a company. Products are very low quality.

Their return policy does not say anything about returns to China. Super interesting that support is in New York but I have to return the parcel all the way to China? Also super interesting that "office" is in Amsterdam and I have to return parcel all the way to China.

If you want Shein, order from Shein. At least their returns is less hassle and approach to customer satisfaction is 100x better.

The item i ordered looked nothing like the photo. The quality of the material was so cheap. I received the item on february 6th emailed to return it february 7th. I was asked to send pics which i did and still after a week nothing.no return no rwply to my email.

I have received my item and it is as I expected based on the ratings for Kate Amsterdam of 1 out of 5. The fabric is plastic, the color is dismal, there are no sewn buttonholes, just holes that have already begun to unravel. The button panel has gaps at every button, even though I am a small and this order was supposedly a large. There is no fabric/fiber information or washing instructions tabs. Your return policy is designed to discourage returns.

You are a sham scam outlet and I should have known better! If you are real persons in the fashion industry you should be ashamed of yourself.

I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with this Kate Amsterdam jacket was deeply frustrating from start to finish.

First, the shipping took forever. I had genuinely given up hope that it would ever arrive.

When it finally did, my disappointment only grew. For the price, I expected a decent, warm jacket. What I received is cheaply made in every sense. The materials feel flimsy, and the construction is poor—from the thin outer shell to the inferior lining inside.

Most importantly, it provides no warmth at all. It's a thin, useless layer. The style is cute, but that's the only positive thing I can say.

Save your money. If you're looking for a high-quality, warm winter jacket, look elsewhere. This product is a complete letdown and not worth the wait or the cost. Consider yourself warned.

Just want to say this is a 0 star review. Just like many others I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. This whole website feels like scam to the quality of clothes to getting in contact with the company. The clothes are very cheap and does not look like the website. It took almost a month to receive my item. I almost felt I was not going to get it at all. When I was tracking the item it was coming from China. I bought a bubble jacket in XL and it does not fit because its CHEAP. Its more like a size medium. It was originally 159.99 and on sale for 59.99. The quality is more like 19.99. Nothing about the item should have been anything more. I want to return it but feel like it would be a complete Hassel if I do and I might not even get my money back losing out on my money and the item. I could at least give it to my sister. The return website does not even work. They should shut this website down. Too many people are being scammed. PLEASE BEWARE!!

The item I ordered is not what I received. The color and fabric were different then what was advertised, and the item was shipped and received late, on top of that. I contacted customer service multiple times for a pre-paid return label, but they keep telling me I am responsible for paying to ship it back to their warehouse in China.

I could not find information about sizes so I hope the 2 items I ordered will fit.

I first got 90 dollar boots I wasnt satisfied they were too big and not correct size and then the communication wasnt really good and it took a couple of weeks but they did make it right they communicated pretty fast and replaced my order woth something of my choice for 59.99 so I guess thats ok and its already shipped out so I feel like this company has made more effort in becoming better so this experience went from a 1 to a 3

Very dishonest company. Products do not look anything like the photos- they are a cheap rip off. The return policy asks you to return - at your expense -the item for a full refund : to CHINA. And they want a tracking number for an international package which isn’t offered.

Shut this company down.

If I could give a rating less than a one, I would. The sizes are at least a size or more too small; everything is cheaply made, and the return policy -- if you're lucky enough to get it instead of the store credit -- requires the buyer to pay the shipping and to pay a restocking fee. Caveat emptor!! I was a fool not to check them out before I spent my money.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering the color block jacket. The construction is less than crap. I can’t even move my arms because of how it’s sewn. The size is wrong. The material is cheap. I have to figure out what to do with this now. Will be contacting my CC company. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
