Wish I could give them no stars. Complete scam you pay to have your question answered but then find out you have been signed up to a membership scheme.

Do not use this company its a bullshit scam company

Rather than phone McAfee (the software protection company), I decided to email them, but somehow, I was directed to a website with chatbot that at first I thought was McAfee. It was only after giving them my phone and email address that I discovered the true situation. JustAsk initially wanted £1 which they claimed was fully refundable, then upped the price to £22. Meanwhile, my bank contacted me to warn about JustAsk, stopping the £22 but letting the £1 charge go through.
Since then, JustAsk tried to email me (but I blocked that). Instead, they have badgered me me with text messages, which I've been unable to block because they don't give a phone number. These text messages have at the end a "how to stop these messages", which I haven't tried yet.
For sheer persistence, as well as their dodgy billing schemes, I would STRONGLY ADVISE anyone thinking of contacting JustAsk NOT TO DO SO UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES whatsoever.
By contrast, I later phoned McAfee on a toll-free number, and the problem was solved in about 15 minutes FOR FREE.

These people are thieves!! Scammers!! They exploit you by stating that you sign up for a 3 day trial and your questions will be answered by lawyers! All LIES!
They must by investigated, arrested and the website shut down! 😡😡😡

As with so many others a one time 5 $ fee turned into a monthly subscription. Heading off to the bank to stop this from happening and to try and stop the payment.

Thieves! I was trying to reach another company, and this number popped up. They said was a one-time $5 fee, and, thinking it was the company I was trying to reach it. Next thing I see is a$55 charge on my credit card that I knew nothing about!

SCAM! A.I. not real experts and the A.I. Bot misunderstood my simple question.

This company offered to answer my legal question for $5. Without consenting to any additional charges, they charged an additional $65.

Rubbish service, scamers. They provide same answer you can read for free in internet, they are not financial advisers. They have a hook price (10£) for a financial querry, after one week they charge you on your card membership (£35) without authositation. FRAUD AVOID!!!

Just Ask is a SCAM. The crooks that run it have a smart "business" model. They prey on unsuspecting people who think they are getting technical or legal help from another organization. I paid the "fully refundable" five dollars , and then my credit card was charged $50.00, but I received no service.

Was told I'd be charged an 8 dollar refundable charge. They tacked on a 69 dollar monthly subscription as a second charge that was not listed and cannot be disputed as a scam.

This company is the worst of scams. They charge for the answer $NZ2 but then charge you a subscription of $NZ70 per month with the credit card information you give for the Just answer help charge. This was NEVER told to me & they are not refunding it - saying that is just "the rules". What rules! Ask for a supervisor - 'they dont have one at the moment'. I spent 1/2 hour in an online chat with tech Josh, who guided me through steps I had already taken to resolve an issue with Microsoft. I asked in very beginning how much help from JustAnswer would cost and they responded, $5. The tech was unable to resolve my issue and I saw that they had also billed me an additional $48 for a monthly membership, which (surprise!), they never mentioned, nor is it spelled out on their website. I immediately contacted their customer service by chat, the only way available to me, and they cut me off after saying that I could continue to enjoy the membership. Terrible, terrible, deceitful, dishonest, fraudulent service.

Do not trust this software fisrt things i got scam....
1. There is a monthly subscrption fee....some where in between the lines
2. I post a question and 1 laywer offer service. I look at it but did not click accept. The next thing I kow is my card was charge but the pymt did not go thru because I hv inssufficient fund.
TAKE NOT DO NOT GIVE YOUR CARD INFO TO THIS WEBSITE THEY AUTOMACTICALLY CHARGED, THIS IS MY REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE.

It is very very difficult to cancel! Do NOT use this service! They will charge you every month and will not refund your money. It took me 2 months to finally figure out how to cancel.
