I've ordered in the past and the fit and durability was better. I've only had my mouth guard for a short time and it's already not tight to my teeth, it developed a weak spot in one area like a week in and already wearing at the front teeth. It falls out as soon as I put it in. I took a great impression. The same one I ordered years ago didnt have any of these issues this soon into use. I am not sure if theres issues with quality control or manufacturing but I will need to look elsewhere as a future customer. I am giving two stars as I haven't had an issue with the customer service but I can't in good faith stand behind this product anymore.

My wife purchased the night guard and she only had to give them $1 until she was completely satisfied with the product. She went to her dentist and they made the impression for her because my wife's hands are arthritic. They didn't charge for that. She tells me the night guard is by far the best ones you've ever had and she's had some by Walmart and some for $700 from her dentist. She's extremely satisfied. She's been using it now for about 2 weeks and today I just got the bill for it. That is amazing company that will supply a product with no money down and wait for you to be satisfied before they even charge you. Another amazing thing is they don't beg for reviews which amazes me. I had a search this out using Google to find a place to leave a review which they deserve.

Purchased a mouth guard from JS Dental about two weeks ago. Received it after waiting about two weeks put it in my mouth caused constant gagging. Contacted JS got a few emails back regarding this issues then crickets, wrote them again and crickets. Maybe go to your Dentist instead!

I started my review at a 1 star. My order was started on March 13th and it’s now end of May. First attempt did not fit properly and they were very nice about wanting to make it right. They covered return shipping and made promises to expedite the replacement but it’s been weeks since they have replied and something just feels off. Maybe they are just very busy but over 2 months with nothing to show for the process is too long in my opinion. The owner contacted me after I cancelled my order to try to make things right so I’ll give them that much. Still it took it being way too long for them to realize it’s not a good situation but I raised my review to a 3 star. Since then they have done everything they can think of to make it right for me which included rushing a lower night guard over night to meet my travel needs and agreed to remake my upper guard with a new impression to be ready upon my return. All at no charge. I am again raising my rating to 4 stars. Their commitment to doing right by me is a remarkable action worthy of trusting this company. Still can’t give them 5 stars because things weren’t right to begin with but this is a company who cares about their customers.

I was having jaw pain unrelated to grinding my teeth. I was seeing an oral surgeon to hopefully fix the problem. The oral surgeon made me a mouth guard and it didn't help, so I tried JS Dental Labs. At first the guard wasn't helping my problem as they are usually for those who grind teeth... but JS Dental Labs didn't give up on me! They tried a few times to make adjustments to the guard, but I was still having jaw pain. They tried giving me a few different guards to combat the problem, all at no additional cost to me. After a few different guards I found something that helped, and I told them of the alterations i needed, and again they made the adjustments for me at no additional cost! Long after my oral surgeon had give up on me JS Dental Labs had finally produced a guard that has solved my nightly jaw pain!

Any other company would have refunded my money and wished me luck, but JS Dental Labs was determined to help me! I'll admit... I didn't think they would be able to help me, and I had given up hope a few times. But they were the ones to keep the lines of communication going. They kept checking in to make sure each new guard was working, and when it didn't, they initiated the next step to help me! In a day and age where most are just looking to make easy money, JS Dental Labs is committed to helping people! I cannot recommend them enough!

Guaranteed they will make it right!

I clench my teeth while sleeping, which has already caused some periodontal bone loss and tooth wear. I’ve also had extensive orthodontic treatment that contributed to additional bone loss, so preserving my teeth and bite alignment is extremely important to me.

I had a very specific requirement: I needed a night guard that could either function as a retainer itself or work together with my Hawley retainer (the old-school pink acrylic and wire type). My research suggested that standard night guards generally don’t work well for retention, despite one dentist insisting otherwise while trying to sell me an $800 appliance.

I contacted several direct-to-consumer dental labs, but none were willing or able to accommodate my situation. Eventually I came across a Reddit thread where a company founder was personally answering detailed dental questions. That founder was Dylan from JS Dental Labs.

After visiting the JS Dental website, I noticed it was the only company that specifically discussed compatibility with retainers. I emailed customer support explaining my situation, and they responded that they would research it and get back to me.

The next email I received was directly from Dylan. He explained that they could fabricate a guard that would fit with my retainer in place, and he gave me specific instructions on how to take the dental impressions while wearing the retainer so the appliance could be shaped properly.

I ordered the kit, and it arrived within a few days. The impression process was straightforward, and they thoughtfully included extra putty in case of mistakes, which ended up being helpful because my first attempt didn’t fully capture one rear molar.

I initially worried that the plastic trays might flex too much, but after inspecting them, I realized they were actually sturdy enough to produce an accurate impression. The reason I ultimately switched to metal trays was because I was taking impressions while wearing my Hawley retainer, and the supplied trays had a raised center bracing section that was interfering a little with the thicker acrylic palate portion of the retainer. I used some cheap metal trays from Amazon with a palate cutout instead, and Dylan confirmed that using my own trays was completely fine. This tray type would really only be a consideration for doing an impression with a thick Hawley in place. Everyone else won’t have an issue.

I mailed the impressions back using the prepaid mailer, and about 10 days later my night guard arrived.

The finishing was perfect, and it fit as I had hoped. There was also plenty of clearance for the retainer wire and palate piece.

Dylan even followed up personally afterward to make sure everything was working well. I was genuinely impressed by the level of engagement from the founder of the company. He clearly cares about delivering a high-quality product and making sure customers get a solution that actually works for their individual needs.

He also showed me an alternative design that may work even better for my next guard, although I expect this one to last me a couple of years.

Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. The level of customization JS Dental offers is outstanding, the product works exactly as promised, and I saved roughly $600 compared to what my dentist quoted me. Honestly, Dylan was significantly more helpful and knowledgeable about my specific situation than my actual dentist.

I've worn nightguards for decades. I had always purchased my guards through my dentist and paid hundreds for a guard that sometimes was not comfortable or durable. A few years ago I found JS Dental Lab and I've been consistently impressed. The 3D nightguards I get from JS Dental Lab are The Best. The materials are high quality and the fit is perfection. I'm pretty demanding of my guards so in addition to them being very comfortable, these are also very durable. I recently upgraded to their new sonic cleaner - it's head and shoulders above the "old" one I had for several years. This one is compact, chargeable (so it's portable!), fast and quiet. It's also a sleek design so you don't mind having it sitting on your bathroom counter. I highly recommend adding this sonic cleaner to your hygiene routine for the best care and longevity of your night guard. Lastly, I cannot speak highly enough about the friendly and exceptional customer service I have consistently received over the many years. They do it right! I'm a customer for life :)

Great experience overall. I worked with several different reps via email, and every interaction was responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely focused on my personal experience and dental health. They honored a warranty for me without any hassle and were even mindful of my travel when coordinating shipping. The cost and overall experience were honestly better than what I’ve had through a dentist’s office. It’s clear they stand behind their product and take care of their customers.

The first time I ordered from this company, it went perfectly. I had had a bad experience at Remi, another nightguard company, and switched to JS after I thought that I had found a great new company that would help while saving me some money. Boy was I wrong. These companies LOVE to lure you in with great customer service for the first order, but any order after that turns into an absolute joke and they have officially lost my business after this latest issue. The first guard I received had great communication, was made and shipped promptly, and lasted for over a year. When it was time to reorder a new guard, I was told I needed to redo my impressions without ever really getting a reason why. Odd, since the company seemed to say they kept everything on file but oh well, I did what they asked. I shipped the impression trays out but there was an issue with them, so I had to redo the impressions AGAIN which took away much time. After finally getting approved, it took weeks to get the new guard and it was created on the wrong arch. So, I had to wait longer to receive the correct guard I had ordered. This new guard lasted 8 months. Due to their warranty, I contacted customer service and the employee Paolo G. said they would send me a new one with an even more durable material - 3 weeks later, zero updates. I finally received an excuse-filled reply back 5 days after I asked for an update saying they were super busy and that a new guard request had been sent to the lab but no idea if it was made yet. This is great - I feel like I am right back to the old nightguard company I tried to get away from.

After I receive this new guard (if that ever actually happens at this point) I will be going to a dentist because the lower price from JS does not warrant the back and forth, long wait times, and lack of communication. These companies just cause headaches- they do everything wonderfully at first to show you how great it could be if you used them, but then do absolutely nothing to keep you as a customer. I’ll continue to wait for this guard that I have a feeling was never sent to the lab, or I’ll get a new impression kit randomly in the mail because my old impressions are suddenly not useable but that wont be communicated to me. Awful - do not use, find an actual dentist or a lab that you can talk to a real human.

I’ve been using JS Dental for many years and have found them to be very reliable and efficient. They are always improving their technology which makes their products even better.
They have actually saved my mouth!!!!

They really make sure to get it right, even with difficult customers like me! This is the #1 go-to company for a quality guard. I'll use them again when I lose this one too haha!

JS Lab is a snake company with snake practices. They fraudulently charged over $300 to my credit card for a dental guard I never purchased. In fact, I didn't send the impression kit due to the lack of response from the company. This company has several consumer complaints online about lack of responses, customers being charged and not receiving products, etc. They basically created a fake order and fake product and charged me. I regret ever considering this company.

Working with the employees at JS Dental Lab has been a great experience. I have spent so much money buying guards at the dentist office with nothing guaranteed, when one did not work I would go on to the next dentist or Ortho and still another bad appliance. I love that there products are guaranteed until it's right making slight adjustments and sending it back is so easy, getting a return label sent to me in an e-mail to print. I am so happy with my guards.

Dylan is a night guard wizard. It might take a little while, but it’s worth it, it’s a really good guard and they are very patient, I know that dentist office make the best and it’s hard to replicate that but they do a very good job and making a great guard and I have tried several different companies. Thank you, Dylan.

The mouth guard JS Dental sent me had a bulge and couldn’t be worn so I sent it back to them with adjustment markings before Christmas. On Feb 3 after asking when it was coming, Leighton said they were two weeks behind schedule. It’s now Feb 17. So almost two months later I still have no idea when I’ll have the mouthguard that I paid hundreds of dollars to JS Dental for in 2025. Basically JS Dental is no better than Walgreens for a mouthguard. It just costs a lot more, takes 25 times longer, and you never know what’s going on.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered night guards through JS Dental labs. Their customer service is great and they fit perfectly. I really like this company.

The terribly slow and antiquated process makes the great guards *almost* not worth the effort. Process with no hiccups already includes: mail me the moulds > mail back the moulds > mail me the guard. Several weeks is normal.

However, their process also includes an optional upgrade, which isn't clear on the original order online. It comes highly recommended in the paper insert with your moulds and requires waiting for more moulds because you have to do both upper and lower. I did this process when ordering my first guard from JS Dental Lab a few years ago.

Now I need to replace my guard. When I went to use the "easy" reorder process, they did not have my old measurements and apparently did not record that I had upgraded to a 3d guard. So wait for first mould > multiple emails to confirm that it wasn't the kit for a 3D guard > submit a new upgrade order with new order #> wait for more moulds in the mail > return > wait for guard > get guard that doesn't quite fit and doesn't actually seem like a 3D guard > multiple email process > need to print off things at the library > send guard back > wait for new guard. HOPE it's right this time as I use an old guard which was partially chewed by my dog....

All told, this process has taken more than three months, and I still need to send the new one back. Probably will hit the 4-month mark by the time I get the final guard. Some of that time is just life (out of town, etc), but that's precisely the point. It's a great savings compared to the dentist, but don't expect to get this done in a reasonable time frame. Next time, I will consider another online option - if one exists - to hopefully remove or reduce all the extra back and forth.

I came across this company several years ago. I was thoroughly impressed with them from the start. They provide an outstanding product at a reasonable price compared to dental offices. They also focus on great customer service. If you’re in need of a dental appliance give JS Dental Lab a try.

In order to fabricate a dental guard I needed to make a good casting of my teeth. Even though I followed the instructions closely the first two attempts were not successful and the lab let me know what went wrong. They were prompt with the analysis and sent me additional casting material quickly. The third attempt was a charm and once sent in the lab began making my guard. I received the finished product in a couple of weeks.
It was a perfect fit and no modifications necessary. My dentist wanted to charge me $500-700 for a guard JS Dental Lab’s guard was $100 ( Amazon sale)
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and nighttime grinding has been averted.
