Great service, great customer service

A competitive rate, a swift transaction and a very pleasant cashier. What more could one ask for?

Far easier than the post office - very efficient and customer focussed approach

I ordered my travel money as l always do from John Lewis money, this was purchased on my credit card and was a click and collect order being delivered to my local Waitrose branch for collection.
But from ordering my money l was never contacted or informed that my purchase was delivered to the branch and awaiting collection, l had to contact John Lewis money after four days to see where my order was.
Very sloppy customer service would seriously think about ordering elsewhere in the future.

Assistant was very pleasant, friendly whilst being professional

Easy to navigate website and exceptionally good rates offered. I was kept up to date with the progression of my order and collection process faultless.

The entire process was quick, efficient and trouble-free. Also, the exchange rate offered by John Lewis was significantly better than that available at Sainsbury’s.

1) No notification that money was in a store ready for collection
2) Not able to get through to desk on telephone
3) not able to order small denominations and subsequently too many €50 notes

Very efficient service.

All was very easy and would definitely use the online again in the future. My 2nd time using John Lewis. The only downside was I would have liked to perhaps submit possible breakdown on denominations- instead I got a wad of 50’s. Unless I missed the area to state this of course.

Speed of ordering and delivery.

This is the first time I have ordered currency from John Lewis. It was a seem less experience from ordering and collection from my local Waitrose. I would definitely order currency online again.

Despite years of responsible use, making payments often to avoid going over the credit limit, the limit is still annoyingly low.

The website only offers a chatbot. I don't use these as they are invariably dumb and useless!

To expand: my wife was a JL customer and took out this card, with me as a second user. We both have used and would like to use it. The credit limit was initially based and remains so, on her pension income only. Requests to update it as appropriate for our《joint 》income fell on deaf ears. So we have to use other cards.

Super quick and easy

The rate wasn’t what it as advertised online. I receive just over e120 to the pound instead of the. E112 on the internet before I left home. The lady said the rate wasn’t the online rate and they were trying to persuade customers to go online. She was complaining to her boss that she needed a break but they only opened at 10 and I was there at 10,30. She counted the money out in little piles all over the place and then they were getting mixed up. Was a bit of a mess and I wouldn’t use John Lewis money again to be honest.

Easy to register, app really easy to use

Amanda was very helpful, pointing out an offer on travel money which I was not aware of. The whole process was quick, smooth, pleasant and efficient.

Our online purchase of Euros from JL was a very simple and straightforward process, made even better with a competitive exchange rate. We selected collection from our local Waitrose store, where it arrived on time a few days later. Here all we had to do was show photo ID, to receive our holiday money for Ireland. It was an excellent service which I recommend.
