I was a responsible, patient and polite buyer, but JOHANENLIES failed me badly.

On Feb 23 I placed an order with JOHANENLIES for 1.790,00 EUR, which I paid in full from start.

JOHANENLIES promised to deliver in 6–8 weeks, but, In reality, it turned into 21 weeks and 6 days - close to half a year.

JOHANENLIES never reached out to me to apologise or tell of the delays and had to be chased hard instead.

It was a deeply frustrating experience, and I had an impression that he was just kidding me, always coming up with different excuses.

In fact things started moving only after my lawyer advised to initiate a legal process and composed a notice of delayed performance which had been served to JOHANENLIES.

Definitely, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. It's not what you may expect from a German furniture maker.

I was a responsible, patient and polite buyer, but they failed me badly. Now it is more than 15 weeks into it. No sign of shipment. When delays started, JOHANENLIES never reached out to me on their own to explain the delays or apologise, and had to be chased instead.

Today my lawyer advised to start a legal process and composed a warning notice for delayed performance which I sent to JOHANENLIES.

I will update my review if any development.
