Reviewer Information: I was a student at JMHS for junior and senior year, and was able to finish 6 months early. I graduated with valedictory honors and was recently accepted to a research university with my JMHS diploma.

In all, it's a great online educational tool and provides everything a basic school education system would. However, this is not for students without self-discipline or a guiding figure like a parent or tutor. It is laughably easy to find any and all test information on third party online sources, and it seems easier to turn to that because there is rarely teacher or peer interaction for support.

It is also not a very difficult school by any means (which can be a positive or negative depending on your needs), but I found it disappointing in academic challenge. You can expect to almost never do projects. It will always be reading and 20 question quizzes with the occasional essay.

Despite sounding very harsh, I would still fully recommended this to anyone in need of accredited online schooling. Just make sure you use the full extent of JMHS and outside resources to educate yourself and stay focused!

As a military kid, this was a much better option then switching schools every few years.

Depending on who you talked to answers to questions were always different told 3 different times had all credits to meet 100 percent completion, unfortunately not the case, multiple emails and voicemails were left with administrative positions with no avail. Finally took it upon myself to take two more classes that were unnecessary to complete graduation, took a full month longer than originally planned. Good news is I am done, worked full time ,completed in 3 years and dealt with major health problems.

This was the first time taking an online course. Now that I have completed the course and received my high diploma, I do not want to take another online class as I feel I had to teach myself the subject matter. Maybe I should have particsped in some of the web session but they never lined up to where I was in my study. I think there should be more interaction with the teachers and other students. I felt alone and disconnected. However, I did like the flexibility of being able to complete the course at my own pace.

Very flexible and adaptable schedules with very few tech issues.

This school is one of the best. Very helpful, easy to navigate, nd the support was there when needed.

I had a great experience at jmhs. The teacher there was hands on everytime i needed them and it was a good fit for me and my work schedule. I went from working in fast-food restaurant to now driving trucks. Thank You JMHS for everything you'll did for me.

I would recommend this school to anyone which I have recently to a few parents who have enrolled their child in this school . Throughout my whole time with a James Madison anytime I needed to speak to a teach I would just call and someone would be right there to help me , I also loved it was self pace and you could work at your own pace 365 days a year ! This was the best school I loved it

James Madison High was very helpful and simple in terms of student care. The curriculum was challenging yet easy to understand, with simple instructions. I think they offer a good balence. It was a perfect for for me.

It is a very good program i would definitely recommend this to other people who want to get their high school diploma. Don’t hesitate just go for it you wont regret it.

The overall program is great for a person wanting to do classwork at their own pace. The staff support is wonderful and I would definitely recommend this program to people who aren't really interested in the High School scene but still want the knowledge.
