Absolute $hite company, every time I go to collect my prescription I am told "sorry you will have to go elsewhere, as we have no pharmacist" this has been going on for months....apparently they are not paying staff....its a disgrace and they should have their license taken off them !!!!

Please report them to the General Pharmaceutical Council !!

Prescription never ready although being ordered 4 days in advance, and this happens every month when I submit my repeat prescription. I'm totally fed up with this company and I will be having my prescription sent directly to knights pharmacy in future

Absolutely appalling company. Consistently not paying staff resulting in local pharmacy being closed. How they expect staff to work for nothing when people have rent, mortgages, bills to pay as well as families to feed is actually quite concering. Poor staff who are customer facing are the ones having to deal with it all.

The owners aren’t paying their pharmacists, so they aren’t going to work which is totally fair enough, but also means no one can put the prescriptions up and best the poor staff can do is print your script so you can go elsewhere. Absolutely shocking from the owners.

I firmly believe that this company are indulging in devious practices. We had a jhoots pharmacy in our village, formerly Boots, it closed down earlier this year. It was terrible, sometimes they had a pharmacist and 1 assistant only. I have had to wait up to 45 minutes for a prescription that was supposed to be ready.
I transferred to Boots in a local town. jhoots have now reopened. What they are doing is virtually criminal, many people, including myself, have gone to Boots for their prescriptions. Only to find they have been snatched back by jhoots and this is IMPORTANT. jhoots have done this without the permission or informing patients of what they have done .It is scandalous behaviour, I for one will be complaing to the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Im on a blue script so only the pharmacist can dispense it.. oddown chemist jhoots so now in 6 months the pharmacist has gone on 2 holidays for 2 weeks both times didt not let me know both times and never got a replacement pharmacist to takeover why he was on holiday.. so I was left without my important medication then today I go in and he is off sick there was 3 members off staff not one could dispense my medication.. again im left without medication.. they told me I would have to get another prescription and find a different chemist.. so now I have done that and I will continue with them and will not be going back to my local chemist jhoots oddown bath as there not reliable.. terrible way to treat costumers

This pharmacy is not open when it is supposed to be. I had a prescription sent here by 111 on Saturday night because it's advertised on the NHS system that they are open on Sundays, but I was informed by Waitrose staff that it's never open on a Saturday or a Sunday. (Apparently this means that they're being paid by our NHS to be open, but are not!) they are not affiliated with Waitrose and the staff told me that they're having people sent here every weekend thinking it's open!

Recently this pharmacy has gone downhill to tbe point it should be closed down.This pharmacy is supposed to serve tbe local community and prescribe prescriptions of medications it is not doing this. There is never a pharmacist there, trying to make a complaint is pointless head office does not answer phone. There is nothing on the shelves either.i have decided to contact trading standards .Today there were two Indian woman ,new staff. They were useless, what's the point in employing them, They appear very happy doing absolutely nothing. I spent two hours trying to get my meds. They couldent even advise where to go.They had never heard of the crescent surgery which is close to them.i got my meds there. I walked all way from harbour to them I've had a stroke. I won't be using them again. CLOSE DOWN AND STOP USING NHS FUNDS FOR THIS PHARMACY!!!!! Really disgusting service!!!!

They never answer the phone as I wanna make sure the prescription is there before I go. When I do go i cannot pay with card and when I pay cash they do not have change. Will request my surgery to send the prescription else where now.

Rubbish.I wanted to give them Zero! Ow in Thorngumbald changing there chosen Pharmacy and saying it is with them.Im sure this must be illegal😡

Salcombe pharmacy closed all week
due to lack of staff with no indication of when the shop will next be open. Inevitably I will have to start travelling to Kingsbridge in order to collect my regular prescriptions because I can no longer rely on Jhoots.
The shop has very little stock and is an eyesore in an otherwise pretty and vibrant high street.

Empty shelves.
Run bare.
No money being invested by owner.
Often out of medication.
Closed when it should be open.
Just about to move somewhere else.

This pharmacy needs to be investigated by appropriate governing body! 501 West Road has not had a pharmacist for 3 days that I know of. No staff in to collect my script to go elsewhere! I need my medication!!!

Jhoots took over operation of this pharmacy from Lloyds over a year ago and it has been closed more times than it's been open. It's a shame there isn't someone who can take over, staff the business and run it safely and legally, because pharmacy provision in Cambridge CB4 is desperately lacking, due to other pharmacies either providing a poor service, or being closed like these lot. With a name like Jhoots, which literally translates as "Liars" in Hindi, what more do you expect?

Once again, the Jhoots pharmacy in Thorley Park, Bishop’s Stortford is closed! I have been unable to collect medication countless times because the store closes at short notice, when it is supposed to be open, apparently due to staffing shortages. I once had to go on holiday without sufficient medication after trying to collect it three days in a row, prior to my holiday. When I spoken to the staff about this, they told me to call beforehand to check if it is open, but when I do that, no one ever answers. Why can’t a company making millions of pounds of profit, employ enough staff? Why are they continuing to open up new branches when they aren’t managing the ones they have? A pharmacy is not like any other shop. It’s supposed to be providing a service to the community. People rely on being able to get necessary medication and pain relief. It is totally unacceptable to put profits before people. The CEO should be ashamed.

Never answer phone Long Meadow. Called 20 times at different times. Says you can leave a msg but you can't. Drove there to find they were closed for lunch. Very frustrating

I no longer receive text messages when my prescriptions are ready. They’re not open on Saturdays, and frequently close unexpectedly during the week due to staff shortages. Shelves are often empty, and the overall service is unreliable.

If you depend on regular medication, I strongly suggest registering with a different pharmacy. Also consider shopping elsewhere, as this location often lacks basic supplies.

Today is 3/5/2025 today I walked in big cue I waited my turn I was giving my methodne and diszipane and then told if you want anything else you will have to come back tomorrow I said I can't my partner needs his meds she ignored me carried on doing the next thing when she should have finished with me I waited my turn. The trainee came to me and took his date birth she is a lovely girl but she got stuck on computer she ask for help she was told abruptly I'm to busy I dont no sort it out your self she was left ages at computer trying to sort it she kept looking at me smiling she dint no wot to do. Also yesterday she was telling costumers that the Asian man that works there as caused all this because he keeps taken holiday and he was the reason jess left and she all also said the company is going bankrupt and not been paying her wages. Also the trainee told her she leaving at 4 she went a crazy and said get in the phone sort this out because if you leave I leave at 4 I'm not being abused by staff. Anyway my point is she needs a good talking to because it's not fair on staff and costumers

Every month they have no stock of prescription medicines and bizarrely will not order anything for you or able to advise when stock will be available.
They took over from Lloyds next to the Courthouse Doctors in Caerphilly and has been a terrible frustrating experience and such a waste of time, makes me want to weep as makes my life much harder.

This company has just taken over the very big, locally dependant on pharmacy in Weston-Super-Mare that serves many doctors surgeries in the area. Absolutely terrible service. No pharmacist has been available for over a week to dispense prescriptions, you will be told to come back again and again and queue for quite a while each time to then be told no pharmacist available. Previous services offered, as referred by GP, are not available now. This pharmacy has always been an absolute shambles and the new company is even worse! Thank goodness that another pharmacy in the area could dispense my prescription very late, but quickly, when needed. The poor pregnant and elderly people trying to get their very much required medication from this pharmacy this week I feel very sorry for. Disgrace! Will never go to this pharmacy again.
