Ordered chunky Biwa pearls, they are amazing.

I’ve been a customer for 15 years and in the past three years JM has really gone down hill. All they sell now is Jade jadeite jade jadeite at extortionate prices! The demos aren’t live but filmed at home! The really good guest designers have left. A lot more tools were sold before like hydraulic presses, rolling mills, really good jewellery making tools, sheet silver and Argentium was really good and durston but aren’t on the JM website anymore. What a shame!

As far as I am aware Jewellery Maker is part of this company, so I will write review here as well. As my order was not delivered and all I hear - sorry, we don't know why it is happen.
it was a good company with nice goods in the past. Goods are possibly still good, but last time they do not deliver.
I have received a message that parcel has been delivered – in fact not.
I have emailed to them, and they advised me to look for photographs on yodel website, as they did not attach anything or confirmed in any way.
I have gone through big trouble including creating account on yodel website, which I don’t need at all just to find a picture showing parcel standing on the doorstep with small part of doors – no big picture address or anything.
I have emailed again and they advised me to look at our neighbours but we live very rural!
When I have asked again, they have replied that they are doing investigation, and will contact me when they have finished it.
Month later as I did not hear anything back I have contacted them again – and they have confirm that they have finished investigation but they just didn't let me know!!!
Unbelievably they have advised me to go in the village nearby (not the place where I live) and ask there for my parcel and they even did not give me address, as they seems don't know that as well! It is what they have wrote: 'This has been delivered 4 mins away from customers address. Could you please go and try to find it ourself?" It is over 4 months now from the time I have ordered - no result. I just received from them -"we apologies, we don't know why it was deliver in wrong address", no action, no explanation, no refund. I did like this company before. Not anymore.

I have a MOHs tester, a stone density light tool and a rock identifier app. Bought some moldavite pieces. They DONT have the track marks or bubbles inside and they test using all 3 methods as peridot NOT moldavite

Some good, some bad.
This is general over a newbie over 5 months.
I went to GM because I could get authenticity cards but bought some off China sites for comparison.
In general if you are looking at a strand £10 buy elsewhere especially tumbles and basic rounds. Know it is their bread and butter but you are being overcharged.
Buying to £50. Be careful but there is some good stuff. Check out Gemporia their sister channel as sometimes cheaper options.
Above £50. Do research but at this level more genuine than than the China sites.
JM is now pretty much jadite and pearls. I do not buy jadite. Pearls can be good but equally can be bad. Think what you are buying. I will buy their pearls but often will buy vintage ebay instead and repurposed.
In general an okay site. Shipping a bit slow for me but okay

Jewellery maker has brilliant deals, fabulous gems and great delivery cost. This is the only place I go to when I need supplies. Love the shows too, with excellent designers, knowledgeable presenters and the behind the scenes staff are so well organised they make everything run really smoothly.

Having been a Jewellery Maker customer for over 10years I can honestly say that any issues have been less than a handful and all have been dealt with in a friendly and efficient way. They are my 'go to' for jewellery making supplies. I hope they continue in the manner I am used to. Thank you

Overall - My experience with JM is a resounding 5⭐.

Shopping experience - An easy to use website. A lot of nice web promotions. The live show extra discounts on items and bundles are a lovely added bonus. I watch the live show on Freeview and order through the app. I appreciate all the effort put into making the shopping experience easier.

Products - Good quality findings and gemstones. The most important thing for someone like myself is the info on the authenticity, geographical location and treatment of the gems. The quality and description of the gems is usually 100%.
I have to highlight that JM's Ethiopian Opal is outstanding quality and so under valued.
Although, recently, there is the odd occasion when description's on 1 product appears to contradict. i.e. this morning, a strand of pearls described as a Natural pink, were also stated as being bleached. A few days ago on a live show, some Akoya pearls listed as from Vietnam were verbally sold as being from Japan. The presenter stated Akoya can only come from Japan. Whilst this is true, a few weeks previous, Dave Troth sold Akoya pearls from Vietnam and was totally up-front in his explanation for this.
JM's findings are excellent quality. The only drawback is often the availability of items that most customers and JM would class as 'essentials'. Hence, the need to bulk buy when the 'essentials' are on air.
A new updated selection of blanks : rings (gents, east to west settings, to fit a larger variety of gemstone sizes), earrings and perhaps bracelets would be nice.

Live shows - Entertaining and informative live shows, full of charisma and personality. Mostly, the presenters and guest designers do an excellent job. The stand-in presenters from Gems TV can be annoying as they seem more adept at panto (best quality/price EVER! EVER! Waiting for the day when one of them actually bursts, live on t.v.) and sometimes appear out of their depth rather than talking plainly to the viewer. I would think JM viewers would prefer to make their own minds up about a product rather than be told what to think. As crafter's we tend to be a level headed bunch!
P.S. too much emphasis on Jade.

Prices and Quality - Although some items are starting to creep up, if you can find any business where they are going down - please let me know 😁. I think JM is still outstanding value for money. They are maintaining quality and with only occasional necessary moderate price increases. As is often said on the live shows ' it's the JM bubble'. Still unbeatable in so many areas of the crafting community.

Delivery - The recent price increase is totally understandable and acceptable. It still provides outstanding value. However, you can tell when JM are exceptionally busy, as it seems to take a few days longer to despatch orders. This is not a problem for myself. Other regular customers should be aware of the options available to them for faster delivery, and stop complaining for the sake of it!

Customer Service - Unbeatable! For over a decade of being a JM customer, I could count on 1 hand the number of times I have had to contact Customer Service. But, on each occasion it has been dealt with timeously and professionally but above all, in a friendly manner.

The future - imagine there was no JM.
Where would we be as crafter's? It's a sobering thought. Less and less local craft shops to browse through with their expensive dubious quality items. Unknown, unproven online alternatives. Let's be thankful for JM. The alternative isn't worth contemplating.

In my experience JM is the best jewellery making supplies company on the planet; have been shopping with them from around 2014 and their enthusiasm never varies. Always cheerful and very helpful, can't fault them - they are the best.

I have been a customer since 2012 and it is the variety and superb value for money that keeps me coming back. I can buy a diverse range of products, from a tutorial to beading needles, and only have to pay one p&p per day.
The expertise and tips from guest designers is a must. Many times they have answered my queries live on air, so real time advice has been on hand which has helped me through projects and using new tools.
JM is a real one stop shop for all jewellery making.

Jewellery Maker offers exceptional jewellery making materials at affordable & competitive prices. Often watch the channel or catch up previous programmes and demos on their YouTube channel. Their programmes are encouraging with warm presenters that make you feel you are part of a jewellery making community. Began watching regularly in lockdown of 2020, and never stopped being a customer since. Don’t think I’ll ever stop making jewellery now. Carol Roache, a presenter often describes jewellery making as a form of developing “a mindfulness”. I totally agree, it allows you to organize one’s’ mind and opens developmental cognition, making the art form known as jewellery making a very pleasant and therapeutic hobby or pastime. I would wholeheartedly recommend watching and/or taking up of the hobby to all ages and abilities. In a World of ever increasing technologies, it’s refreshing to partake of a thing that is so much simpler and reminiscent of methods used for many generations.

I have been watching Jewellerymaker almost from the beginning and have bought quite a lot of beautiful gems, useful tools and unusual items for which I have no use but to look at! The presenters are mostly interesting and thank goodness, no jiggy background elevator music. There have been quite a few changes over the years, mostly good, but nothing has put me off watching this interesting programme. I keep track of my purchases and currently I have bought £80,000 (approximately) worth of sparkly and otherwise items. I have not returned many of them. I do like the current easy to cancel format, so easy and, so far, nothing I've received has had to be returned, yay!

Really great demonstrations and sales. I love the information constantly provided along with lighthearted and happy presentations. The help team are amazing at sorting out my problems and also always cheerful and endlessly patient. Thanks JM for so much entertainment, information and help.

I have been making jewellery for 30 years and found jewellery maker in 2011. Since then jewellery maker has become my go to place for pretty much all of my jewellery making supplies. I know I can trust the quality of the findings, and I know that all of the gemstones are 100% what they say they are, and that hasn't always been the case from other suppliers.
I have also learnt so much more since finding JM as their daily tutorials with designers showing so many different mediums have taken me into new directions, learning techniques I had never tried before. Now that they are supplying kits with full written instructions for free to follow if you so wish is fabulous.
I have very rarely ever had issues and only needed to speak to customer service a couple of times in 14 years, but they resolved my issues quickly and were extremely helpful.
I was extremely happy with my latest purchases which arrived last week, and the quality and prices were fabulous.
To say that I am still regularly buying from JM 14 years after finding them obviously speaks for itself that I recommend them highly!!!

Good products and prices but knocked off one point as I can get tools cheaper elsewhere. Great postage though, one price for as many items as you can cram into one order. On the odd occasion I've had a problem customer service team have sorted it quickly and efficiently. Overall a good group of companies.

You also get a certificate with most and any problems at all you get your money refunded with no questions asked. I have bought from jewellery maker for over 12 years now.

I still enjoy the programmes, guest designers etc. Don't seem to buy so much since postage increase and not enough items on split pay.
Would be helpful if the number of beads on a string was in brackets after the description I.e. for doing malas

Many amazing jewellery making pieces, and paying more gets them delivered quickly. Standard delivery takes over a week in comparison. Customer service is good, and I have used the no quibble refunds when things weren't quite as I expected. Can be a challenge to stick to budget, so be careful!
