JD Gyms - Newport Bewertungen 

Love everything about the gym. Enough space and plenty of equipments. Just one thing that I feel is needs of supporting tools like barbell pads should be provided more. Last time I got hurt using very bad one from the gym.
Otherwise it’s lovely

Great gym with lots of equipment over 2 floors.

Great gym but needs to be open 24 hours , this is a must , gyms everywhere are open 24 hours . Just get it done

I definitely recommend improving your security.. After very rainy day I left my jumper to dry out and someone took it and all I've been old was *sorry, was it expensive one? // month before taking money from account I contacted JD via email about helping with freezin the account cuz I was pregnant, someone then called me and freeze it for me ( someone from the gym, cctv I bet was recording :)) after that from I believe 3.10 I couldn't use QR code but money next month were still taken, obviously I contacted JD, no proof they say there's nothing they can do. OK no worries so I shut the door in that gym and went to another one.. Someone didn't follow they steps with freezin, closed mine account.. How cool.. Train your staff properly :) // lately soo much kids around.. No chance to train so I'll go my way to better place :)

Good Gym , Decent Equipment both cardio and Weights.

Nice friendly staff and easy to sigh up. Equipment is modern n good working order.

I'm completely disgusted from this place and staff. Let's be honest this place it's not even worth 22£ a mount there is so so so many people but not enough equipment some broken peaces and many what they don't care about but what is even worse is staff what actually work there. Couple weeks ago someone steal my missis hoodie she had it on hanger in changing room when she reported answer was if is not in locker we don't take responsibility for that okay fair enough but why they have hangers on wall in changing rooms? Next one very amazing experience was with my missis freezing acout where someone from staff call my missis and they all sorted through the phone so she could not use app any more but they charge her money anyway and when she contact them she got reply from young Manager we can't prove it so they won't give us money back 👌💯 another thing when manager which is young lady came to male changing room where boys and man's were naked she just came in and she said sorry but she need check something "are u serious" they have many males staff but nooo she may do it on her own. I'm so sad to say that but some owners should wake up to reality and take action with this I know 7 people at least they will leave soon this gym. I'm completely upset with JD gym Newport

The staff are really helpful and easy to join.
An array of gym equipment too.

I really liked the space between the equipment and facilty nice and clean and lots of weights enough for everyone really good gym 10/10

Very hot and dont like that theres no tele and all gym equipment on top of each other preferred it as fitness for less

Great gym very friendly and let's you get on with your work out I also love that you can do classes included that is great.i definitely recommend to family and friends.

The whole process to join was smooth and easy. Friendly & helpful staff

Great classes, staff are really nice, always clean. Only downside is there is no system for class queuing and people push in. If it’s full you can’t go to the class even though you’ve been waiting outside for half an hour!

Loads of equipment so less chance of waiting for a station or bench, very clean and tidy. Customers could help by putting equipment away after use but otherwise a good start 👍

Easy straight forward no hassle

There was an attempt to steal my bike, secured at the gyms bike stand in front of the floor to ceiling wall windows a few days ago. It was only by luck that I walked past after finish my session, to see that a group of boys trying to jank it free. I ran to the window to get then to stop. Comment from staff sitting at tables next to the windows (they had been there for at least an hour as I saw then when I first came in. Although they would've seen me secure my bike to the stan, I'd like to give them the benefit of a doubt to say that they didn't notice it), less than 1 meter away and with full view, said that it was best I got out there as they had been there for quite some time trying to get the bike. A customer that had been inside said that one of the boys had come inside asking staff for a tool to cut off my chain.
Police came over and that's when I learned that this was a known issue here and that another member had their bike stolen from there not long before.
Had it not been for the immediate support by Curtis,a PT at JD, I am not sure I would still have my bike. I have requested that my membership is cancelled and I will be joining another gym.
The two stars should be read as 5 star for the heroic effort of Curtis but I feel it's important to be aware of the potential risks should you choose to visit. If you have a car, I'm sure it irrelevant.
