Brilliant
I recently rejoined as I moved to a different city. The staff , a tall fellow, can’t recall his name I’m afraid was very nice and professional. The equipments are good although not enough leg machines, perhaps it’s because I attend at busy hours.

Generally good gym for the price
Generally good gym for the price. Busy lots of the time unless you quite late like past 10:30pm. The mens toilets smell and the floor is wet.

Music too loud
Plenty of equipment, but poorly cared for. There is nothing provided to clean equipment which often means laying or standing in a collection of sweat.
My biggest complaint is the volume of the music, I can't hear the headphones in my ears or the person across from me.
It would be a much better experience if they turned the music down.

Machines are filthy - could be much better
Machines are filthy, no facilities to wipe down the machines after use - paper towel dispensers and sanitiser spray for example. No cleaners present but assume they have set times to attend.
Will see what it’s like on my next visit.
Cleanliness could be much better which would make a massive improvement.

Sprayed by cleaning polish in the face and staff attempted to clean my treadmil while I was using it! Unbelievable! My workout has been cut short.

Trouble with access
I was a member of Pure Gym for 8 years. Due to the (Pure Gym) CEO's political views I immediately cancelled my membership and my clients started to follow me, cancelling their own memberships and asking what gym we can go to. Because many go to college nearby I suggested we try JD. However, the two times I've set up a gym meet both my friends, family and a client with autism were left waiting inside because my membership was not functioning to gain entry. It happened to my nephew as well. After having a sense of humour about it and making everyone laugh it off, it happened again quite late at night and again the next morning. We managed to get one workout and have had no offer of refund. The staff were friendly enough to correct the entry error on their laptop but by now those I train with are already put off by JD. I've lost over £60 over this, and unfortunately cannot recommend JD to my group.

Good introduction
Good introduction, equipment looks great, clean looking lots of room I went at 11 was good time to go, have to bring own music some areas struggled to here music more further back I went, some good classes, would recommend.

I recently joined JD Gym in Milton…
I recently joined JD Gym in Milton Keynes based on a friend's recommendation. I had been a member of Pure Gym for 7 years, so it was tough to leave. However, I have to say, JD Gym is much bigger and has better equipment than Pure Gym. Plus, they have a sauna in the locker room which is a nice touch. They also have punching bags for boxing enthusiasts. The only downside is that they don't have massage chairs like Pure Gym.
I've been using JD Gym for a week now, and one thing that bothers me is the cleanliness. The gym floor and equipment don't seem to be cleaned regularly, which is a bit of a hygiene issue. In terms of the app, I think Pure Gym has a better one. It has more information and is more user-friendly.
Overall, JD Gym is a good gym, they just need to improve their cleaning routine. #findacleaner!!
