JD gyms Manchester is amazing. New and maintained equipment with something for everyone. They have some amazing PTs that are always around to help when needed. If you are looking for a 1 to 1 or online coach Olivia a PT that works there is amazing

Have been coming to this gym since October 24 and would never deviate. Equipment is perfect and loveee using the sauna too. The staff are so friendly and so approachable which is so important to adopt a good gym community, so thankyou for always making me feel welcome guys!

Ontop of this the skills of their PT’s are next to none! I have been with Olivia Bradbury for the same length of time and she has truly changed my life and my outlook on the gym. The support and adaptability Liv has provided me with turned me into a gym girl! Thankyou Liv and all JD crew🫶🏻

The gym itself is fine. Equipment is generally clean and new. 5 stars reflects the standard of the personal trainers but in particular Olivia Bradbury. Her approach is always to be goal-focussed but realistic and is very carefully considerate of lifestyle. I can see and feel the growth in strength in all the areas of my body I wanted to see and feel it when I started. She really gets the brief and I’d always recommend her.

Great management and atmosphere
I’ve been a Salford member here for a while and the management is excellent. Kindon is a great example and very professional, approachable, and truly listens to member feedback. It makes working out here a great experience. He is a great asset to the gym. Keep up the great work!

I have had a bad experience with one of your managers which from beginning to end has really gave me an extremely hard time and i found her rude with the way she was speaking to me as a new customer this is not what i expected at all and am contemplating not continuing its a shame because i found your facility great and machines perfect for my workouts....my last correspondance with her was 10:05 4/6/2026 i left with another bad experience from her arguing with me and refusing to give me the code going into her room, then sayin OK ile give it you, i dont need to go through this is very unprofessional. She refused to give me her name also which obviously makes it difficult for me to tell you who it was maybe she did this on purpose i dont know i hadn't said anything wrong i just said i dont wish to argue i just want to put it in writing.

smells of sweat everywhere, poor ventilation, enough space but not during peak times

I like the fact that it’s big and most of the times clean. I dislike the fact that there are only 3 smith machines for such a big gym and the payment method is sometimes unnecessarily slow because trainers do not understand

The gym is ridiculously busy, no space to workout or even move. It’s full of people recording and no consideration for others. Don’t think the gym should allow such a high capacity of people at the gym

The stretching area is too small. There’s some strange guys who use the whole area and do not allow other members to use it at the same time. there’s no special Powerbar for bench press, there is only bar for squat. Hope gym can purchase some special power bar for bench press. Moreover, improve the bench press machine. There’s no protection on the both sides. Overall, I suggest that gym can purchase eleiko competition rack and special bar

I couldn't get into the turnstiles as QRCode wasn't working but a very helpful instructor let me in. I had had a very busy day and was looking forward to using the gym and sauna. But I didnt even manage to get to the gym because I realised I needed a padlock for the locker, I had a gym token but couldn't use that. So paid £6 for 1 and then I couldn't work it so had to keep asking someone to help me. In the end I just went to the sauna but that wasn't working. So not had the great 1st impression especially returning to the gym after a 5 year break. I'm really hoping the next visit is better.

I love how hygienic and aesthetic the gym is. It has all types of machines which makes it more fun to workout.
