Not quality I expected.
All my other Tatjana gooseberry bushes are thornless, these are definitely not, I am doubtful that they are Tatjana variety. Also it is the usual practice with top nurseries that gooseberry’s are grown on 6” to 8” leg, not about three stems coming out of the rootball

Good morning, I am sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction with the plants, I have sent you an email to rectify the situtation. We do not send plants out mislabelled so if there has been an error we will sort that out and we do not state on the listings that these plants are grown as half standards or standards. In the past gooseberries may have been grown like this but now most stock that is grown and sold in this country are multi stemmed from the base of the plant as it produces more fruit this way.

Since writing this the plants have arrived and many congratulations on the fantastic packaging. You even cater for idiots who cannot read as one of our boxes was left upside down despite a very clear sticker saying this way up. The tape across the top of the pots prevented all the soil from falling out.
So very many thanks to you and I am looking forward to planting them

Fig plants - excellent quality and fast delivery
I ordered three fig plants online. Two hours later I had an email from Magda to say that they had been dispatched. They arrived next day - only £4.95 delivery from Scotland to Derbyshire. The plants are excellent quality and were reasonably priced. They were extremely well packaged, arrived in very good condition. Service from James McIntyre & Sons was first rate. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Great experience
Ordered two blueberry bushes (3l and 2l). Great comms on the delivery details. Plants packaged well and in great condition (much better than the local garden centre). I'll definitely order again.

Beautiful plants, expertly packaged
James McIntyre always delivers exceptional plants so quickly. The plants are delivered the right way up with such advanced protection in sturdy boxes there is no way soil has a chance to escape or the plant is going to get shaken about. I always find the prices are competitive too - it’s cheaper to buy from them even with postage added compared to companies, garden centres and nurseries in southern England. They always offer a large choice of plants with very detailed instructions on planting, care, feeding and pruning - if you follow them you just cannot go wrong. Ordering was efficient and simple online - I cannot recommend this company highly enough - excellent all round.
