Ivy have been letting my west end property for me for over 6 years now and the experience has been first class. Tenant selection has been thorough, careful and well considered over the years. Any maintenance issues have been dealt with promptly and the contractors they have used have all done excellent work. It's also a bonus that they dont charge commission on any contractor work carried out at the property. The staff have all been friendly and helpful in my dealings with them, the negative reviews on this site don't reflect my experience in the slightest. It's been hassle free for me to let my property with them, I can highly recommend.

I’m absolutely delighted with the level of care and attention I received from Ivy Property. Ivy currently manage two of my properties. There was no pressure at all to proceed straight away after the valuation and when I did move forward, the whole process was quick, straightforward and very well organised. Communication is excellent, always having someone available at the end of the phone to the really helpful WhatsApp group that made it easy to stay in touch with the team. Fab experience all round.

Extremely poor experience with this agency, particularly the Lettings Director, whose communication has been rude and unprofessional.

We have lived in the property for two months before asbestos was confirmed—material that was neither identified nor surveyed prior to our move-in. This is deeply concerning, especially given that we have young children. Throughout this situation, the agency has shown a clear lack of compassion, accountability, and urgency in addressing a significant health and safety risk.

Reluctant 2 stars, giving an extra star due to the friendliness of most of the staff and I liked the property. But overall a really poor company, they seem to be interested in earning a quick few pound in the property market without proper services. Had a fairly routine maintenance issue ignored, argued against and any time you reach out they become extremely defensive. They gladly go against Scottish property laws.

I've seen people mention the poor moving out process. Again, process iniated outside of legal time frame. Really pushy about a clean and really questionable pricing strategy. Lovely in the initial stages and had a great time but the furnishings were left terrible and funnily despite their cleaning policy the place was disgusting, food on plates type disgusting. No service unless you prompt them multiple times and it really seems as if there are a few contractors involved here making a quick quid. Get the place signed up and then tune out. Been with larger competitors who come with some nightmare stories but never had a bad experience, at least they're professional. Invasive when attending the flat, unable to organise easy things,

Awful experience upon leaving a tenancy. Will recommend a cleaner that is "in-house" and act like they are part of a compulsory process of leaving the tenancy, using pushing language and without a doubt offering incorrect ad hoc housing advice, like he did to us, without the knowledge of the landlord or the letting agency. The letting agency will bicker over tiny deposit issues for 30 pounds and take it all the way through ADR, delaying your deposit return. Rent was never late nor missed, and the property was in a professionally cleaned condition, and they felt they would hold the deposit back for a petty £30. We need more legislation to regulate against landlords and their associates in this sector to prevent these issues.
