Am ramas cu un gust amar in urma serviciilor IPHOST.
Sunt programator si am creat un website pentru alerte sms+email pentru RCA, ROVINIETA, ITP expirate; serviciu care se bazeaza pe trimiterea de emailuri in general, iar extern un serviciu cu API de trimitere sms si emailuri. TOTUL LEGIT, NIMIC CE ARE LEGATURA CU SPAM.
Inainte de a achizitiona severul am specificat in mod expres ca am nevoie de anumite criterii, am intrebat daca au ceva ce mi se preteaza mie si mi-au confirmat ca DA. Pe whatsapp, cu toate conversatiile salvate.
Am cumparat serverul, am platit, apoi surpriza, IP-ul era shadow ban (nu mai explic ce inseamna ca stim cu totii).
Sambata, in timp ce lucram la site (ca asa sunt platiti programatorii, LA ORA) mi-au blocat accesul la server si l-au lasat asa, pana cand au vrut ei: 2-3 zile.
Mi-au lasat serverul in aer fara ca eu sa il pot folosi. Aproape 200 euro am dat pe server, dar nu am ce face cu el pentru ca serviciul de tehnic 24/24, asa cum il lauda este defapt de luni pana vineri doar. Nici macar licenta cpanel nu mi-au schimbat-o pe noul server ca sa pot sa imi desfasor activitatea. Cand am cerut refund au zis ca nu se poate refund la serviciile mele deoarece este platit cu crypto.
Stie si tehnicianul care se ocupa de partea de server ca vechiul IP era shadow ban, dar a negat pana in ultima clipa. Dupa ce a schimbat serverul si mi-a blocat accesul, s-a duc la baie si acolo a ramas. Si-a pus in cap sa ma lase fara server 2-3 zile pana cand vrea el.
FIX CAND REZOLVASEM PROBLEMA SI AM IMPLEMENTAT UN API DE MAIL EXTERN, MI-AU SCHIMBAT SERVERUL FARA SA MA INTREBE!
Nu recomand. Daca vreti liniste, luati-va servere ieftine deoarece cele scumpe nu sunt bune.
Codul sursa este creat pe un server de 2$ pe luna, dar clientul meu a tinut in mod expres sa aibe server de minim 200 euro de Romania pentru ca aici va fi aplicatia.
Deobicei ma documentez inainte sa iau un server, dar aici am luat "blind" ca eram pe fuga, iar acum am 2 zile pierdute cu incercarea de a rezolva problema serverului, PLUS inca 2 zile ca mi-a schimbat serverul sambata cand domnul tehnician a plecat in oras fara sa il duca pana la capat.
Probabil o sa imi taie accesul la server (platit pe 12 luni) din cauza recenziilor reale, dar si-au batut joc de mine.

E foarte usor de folosit, stabil si rapid

Fast answer from customer support

I purchased a dedicated server from them on January 10th. The server I got access to didn't match the description of the product I purchased, so I requested a refund the same day since they couldn't provide me access to the correct dedicated server. I was told I'd received a refund on January 13th, but that didn't happen. I finally received a refund on January 16th, but it was less than what I paid. I'm still waiting to receive the rest of my refund.

Update: IPHOST.MD's response to this is their admission and justification for stealing the remainder of my refund from me because they chose to wait 6 days before refunding me. What a scam. No one should buy anything from this company since they are comfortable blatantly stealing from their customers. After a full week of dealing with their incompetent customer service, their website still lists their Mac Studio M1 Ultra dedicated server as having 64 GPU cores, which they only own the version with 48 GPU cores. The 10% discount they are offering me in return for their theft will go unused as I will never do business with them again.

IPHOST.MD's decision to pass off the losses they incurred as a result of their incorrect product listing onto their customer is an atrocious business practice. Absolutely no accountability by IPHOST.MD for the choices they solely made that resulted in these losses.

They chose to list a product they don't own.
They chose to exchange the currency I paid in to USD.
They chose to wait 6 days before refunding me.
And somehow I'm the one held responsible for their decisions that are completely out of my control.

As a side note, if any of you are looking to rent a Mac Studio M1 Ultra dedicated server with 64 GPU cores, Amazon AWS is what I ended up using.
