I can honestly say the course is a really worthwhile experience for me. I joined the course wanting to strengthen my understanding of how data and AI can be applied strategically in a real organisational context, and it has definitely delivered on that. What I have appreciated most was how clear, practical and engaging the course eventually got, at the start certain areas were complicated, it can also be difficult to adapt and balance out your normal work alongside the course, my coach was understanding and supportive. Each lesson allows me to come away with a much better understanding of how data and AI can support better decision-making and long-term planning. I would happily recommend IO-Sphere to anyone looking to build their confidence and knowledge in this area.

Completing the 10-week Data Analytics Bootcamp at iO-Sphere has been an intense but incredibly rewarding experience.

The programme strikes a great balance between technical capability and real-world application. Over the course of the bootcamp, I’ve built a strong foundation in SQL and Power BI, working through practical scenarios that mirror genuine business challenges rather than just theory.

What really sets iO-Sphere apart is the emphasis on communication and storytelling. Presenting data insights weekly to peers pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me develop the confidence to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations — a critical skill in any data role.

I also valued the discussions around ethics in data — something often overlooked but increasingly important. Being encouraged to challenge assumptions, debate perspectives, and think critically has strengthened both my analytical mindset and professional judgement.

It’s been demanding, no doubt — but that’s what makes it so effective. Alongside the technical skills, I’ve developed stronger communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, all of which are essential for a successful transition into a data analyst career.

Overall, a fantastic experience and a strong launchpad into the world of data.

I just completed a 10 week programme in Data Analysis with iO-Sphere.
It was a very detailed programme and we covered a lot great topics like how to prepare a data dictionary, data governance, identifying business drivers, OKRs, KPIs, customer segmentation (my favourite) and A/B testing. We also had career coaching sessions weekly! All the coaches were amazing!
Overall it was a great learning experience. Highly recommended!

My experience at iO-Sphere has been one I couldn't recommend more.

The 10x week bootcamp is filled with incredible resources, teachings, guidance and the skills to equipt you to work in the data analytics sphere or upskill on your current career.

A special thank you to my coaches Tash Joslin and Andrea Buwalda who supported from start to finish & helped strengthen my personal development helping me feel job-ready.

I started the 10 week iO Sphere programme as someone who was quite lost in my job hunt, especially being out of work for an extended period. With the help of the coaches, I have managed to secure a new role and feel much more confident from an upskilling/employability perspective, as well as gaining some new friends and connections that I will leverage moving forward.

A massive thank you to the coaching team (including Tash, Andrea, Abi, Elizna, Jen, Greg and anyone else I may have forgotten) for all of the dedicated support they have provided for me over the 10 weeks.

I did the AI Skills for the Future apprenticeship programme and honestly it's been one of the best things I've done for my career. I'm in HR so I went in thinking most of it wouldn't really apply to me, but I ended up automating parts of our HR process and building this system that flags people who might be ready for promotion — before that it was all just me trawling through spreadsheets trying to spot patterns.

Harry is a great coach too — always really supportive, good energy, and he actually took the time to get to know me which made a big difference. Would definitely recommend the AI Skills for the future programme it if you're in a non-technical role and wondering whether it's worth it.

Really poor experience all round.
I was meant to be placed in a Data Analytics course last year in September, only for it to fall through because they had some sort of admin (DAS?) change. I was fine and worked with my HR team to get all relevant info over to them.
Then, 1 month passes, and no response from IO - with my HR team confirming.
Very disappointed as I got my hopes up only to be let down by not even being enrolled and having my time wasted.

Low quality and inadequate environment.
Coaches are not impressive, they improvise classes on the spot, especially Even. He ends up speaking about things so obvious they could be taught in primary school like shapes and charts. Pathetic use of time. Founder doesn't care if youre well served by this course he just wants your money.

Fishy scam to say the least. James the founder will give you a taste of "not my money (it's Oscar's father's) but I run this hole and I'll do whatever I want with it all". Toxic. Coaches are underexperienced, they have little to offer.

Absolutely amazing career accelerator program, where you develop a lot of technical skills in a short amount of time and apply them in a work setting. Help and support from all the coaches is great, and communication is very fast-paced.

I did the course at the beginning of 2025 as I had been made redundant from my Application Support job November previous and thought doing the Data Analysis course would really help me get into the role I wanted to do.
I learnt so much more about SQL, Excel and Power BI. It taught me how to put a good presentation together and then to present in front of 30 people. I gained so much confidence in my presenting skills, it really changed my way of thinking about Data Analysis.
The coaches were brilliant and really supportive, encouraging you all the time, critiquing you when needed.
The course itself was super intense but that made me really focus on what I needed to do, it was like a full time job for 10 weeks. I was on a really good cohort and have made some new friends.
I thoroughly recommend this course, it gives you everything you need to get started.

I think the course is very valuable regarding the time that is being taught. It provides a free to speak environment and you get your hands on many different exercises and projects. The coaches are very helpful, and they are trying to guide you at all times.

As a student who has just completed the IO-Sphere Data Analyst Experience Accelerator, I highly recommend this programme to anyone interested in pursuing a career in data analytics or learning more about data.

Initially, I had doubts about embarking on the programme and I am sure many others may feel the same way, as the sheer volume of data courses available make the market feel saturated. However, I have now learnt never to let doubts rob me of a truly transformative experience. If you are hesitant about which programme will genuinely equip you with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to become a data analyst, choose IO-Sphere above all others.

This programme was far more than just technical training. While I developed strong skills in SQL, Excel, and Power BI, and learned how to work with real-world data, derive meaningful insights, and present them through compelling storytelling, I also gained invaluable soft skills. The experience has helped me build self-confidence, network and collaborate with others, and form friendships—an aspect often overlooked in technical training but crucial for success in the industry.

The dedication and support from all of the data coaches and James were exceptional. Their commitment to student success made the programme both enjoyable and incredibly rewarding.

For those on the fence about taking the leap, I encourage you to go for it. The hands-on projects provide valuable business insights and allow you to truly step into the role of a data analyst at Prism, the fictional e-commerce company whose data we worked with. By the end of the programme, I not only developed technical expertise but also gained the confidence to call myself a data analyst.

This experience has been worth every moment, and I am honoured to have been part of such an outstanding programme.

Did a Data Analyst course in 2024. Was amazed by the quality of the course and how much I learned from the experience! Without a doubt, the best experience of that year!
- Everything is incredibly fast-paced => don’t mess around learning things you don’t need (e.g. saw one other data analyst bootcamp that was teaching R and Bash…)
- High-quality study resources to learn technologies, analysis techniques and thinking frameworks => allows you to be in the same “Einstein” mode you experience every time there is 1h before the deadline => total clarity
