We went in for just a drink, as were advertising bogohp, while having our drinks they were bringing there sunday roast out which smell lovely, so decided to stay and have dinner. I had beef and my friend had belly pork. Both meals were amazing to much for me ,wished I had the small one. You get red cabbage, carrots, broccoli, white cabbage,roasties, mash, what ever meat you choose and enormous porkies pud all beautifully cooked.

We booked a table at our local branch for a Christmas family meal. There were 6 adults, 2 children and a baby. Both my husband and son phoned the restaurant on separate occasions to enquire about food allergies (one child is gluten and dairy intolerant)
Both were assured that this wouldn’t be a problem and they could do her a pizza or pretty much
anything else she wanted. Fabulous.
However, on Saturday 20th December when we arrived and tried to order, there wasn’t much she could have as “we have to throw too much away”
If we had been told that via phone we would have gone elsewhere.
The floor staff were great, it is whoever misinformed us regarding allergens.
I’ve eaten at this branch many times and this is the only time that we encountered a problem. However, we had a little girl who couldn’t choose her own meal because in actual fact gluten and dairy intolerance are not catered for.

We had a great whiskey tasting with Felix. He was knowledgeable, and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend it.

I had a whisky tasting bought for me by my wife as a Christmas gift via buy a gift, booking was very easy Sam who dealt with the booking and was also our host for the tasting was superb throughout, we sampled 5 generous samples of whisky whilst Sam delivered her wealth of knowledge about the whiskies and we had to try and pair the whiskies sampled to the bottles using the tasting notes and aromas which added a little competitive edge to the tasting session, all in all a great experience delivered by a fabulous host, i would highly recommend.

Amazing selection and ideal for stocking fillers.
Delivery is beyond excellent.
Have ordered for gifts a few times now and never let down.
Highly recommended.

I made a order that instantly got canceled. I tried emailing and got no response, tried calling the phone number that isn't even a real number. And they kept my money from my account. Not pleased at all!

We attended today for our tasting experience, after purchasing this for my husband at Christmas. Upon arrival the experience was set out as expected with the glasses ready for our tasting, the tour consisted of the knowledge of fragrances, palette and the finish of each drink. Where each drink came from and how it’s made. It was miles away from sup up, shut up, pay up, which I worried it would be.
The location of the premises is a little shop which still has passing trade and customers popping in, but our host dealt with us both at the same time professionally and courteously. In busy season I can see this would be more difficult (so pick your dates carefully.)
Would it be enough to put me off? Absolutely not!!! We loved loved loved it.
On to the host himself (sorry to bore) the gent was amazing and most certainly deserves a raise - he made it personal, answered the questions, listened intently, kept us on track and was professional at all times. If you like Whiskey, like something a little different, you will not be disappointed.
Even if like me, you are not a whiskey fan but wanted to know more about whiskey and to try drinks before buying expensive bottles, this is most definitely for you. I found I like whiskey and my husband knows much more about his favourite tipple.

A couple of us went to a whisky tasting - the young lady hosting was excellent, informative, personable and entertaining.
And it was excellent value - we had 5 large whiskies, each, a half bottle of 'golden pinot grigio'. We also had some personalised novelty bottles of Balsamic & Lemon Olive Oil. Incidentally, while we were there, two other sets of customers were served and were effusive about the products.
All round, thank you & thumbs up.

Really impressed with my first order from IL GUSTO. I contacted them with a query about an item I wanted to purchase and they replied really quickly and I actually received my order the next day, the item was as described and really well packaged!! Can't get better than that! Will definitely look here first for my gift purchases next time..

I went to the IL GUSTO store in York earlier today. The lady who served me was totally fabulous.

I went to buy gin not really knowing what I was likely to end up with. The lady really listened to my 'tastes in gin' and as a result was able to suggest a number of suitable flavours (I tried small samples of them and wasn't disappointed).

So I was happy to make a purchase of mini selection box of different gin flavours, and I am sure I will be ordering from them again soon.
