I wanted to share a disturbing experience I had with Hyper3D.ai (Deemos) made 3d model to warn others in the community about their predatory billing practices.
The Incident: I originally subscribed to their $8 plan. While using the site, a small pop-up window appeared promoting a feature. I clicked "OK" without realizing it was an immediate purchase trigger. There was no checkout page, no price summary, and no confirmation required. They immediately attempted to charge my card $120 for a new plan.
Deceptive Tactics:
Unauthorized Charge Attempt: My bank initially blocked the $120 charge because it exceeded my set transaction limit.
Immediate Cancellation: Seeing this suspicious "stealth" subscription, I went into the settings and manually cancelled the $120 plan immediately. I stopped using the site entirely after this.
Bypassing Limits: A week later, without any notice, Hyper3D lowered the price and attempted the charge again. This time, because the amount was lower, it bypassed my bank's limit and successfully took my money—for a subscription I had already cancelled.
Zero Support: I have emailed their support . multiple times over the past four days requesting a refund for this unauthorized transaction. They have completely ignored me.
Current Status: I have already filed a formal dispute/chargeback with Mastercard for "unauthorized/fraudulent transaction."
Summary: Hyper3D uses "Dark Patterns" to trick users into expensive subscriptions and then manipulates transaction amounts to force payments through even after you cancel.
Please stay away from this platform. Don't let them have your credit card info. If you have already been charged, contact your bank immediately for a chargeback.
