Bought a stabila level set online
Bought a stabila level set online to be picked up at the Sunderland store. Left my house early to pick it up and then go to work on my site in ashington. Was left standing as they were looking all over for it. Was told it couldn’t be found and they would call me when another person who started later then 7am is there to look for it. It was 7:20 by this time and I was late for work as I should have just been in and out. Didn’t receive a call to say it couldn’t be found either, only found out because my bank said a refund was issued.

Having to wait while our team searched for your Stabila level set, only to be told it was missing, is entirely unacceptable—especially when it caused you to be late for your site work in Ashington. We also recognize that failing to call you with an update and relying on a bank notification to inform you of the refund added to your disappointment.
We take inventory errors and communication breakdowns very seriously. Your comments have been shared directly with the Sunderland management team so we can review our morning stock checks and ensure customer updates are handled promptly in the future. We are committed to improving our process to prevent this from happening again.
Refusal of returns less than 9 hours after purchase.
I purchased 6 bags of cement from this company and I only used 4 so I tried taking the extra back to the branch on the very same day of purchase only to find the gates had been shut at 16:55 when their sign claims they close at 17:00.
So I returned the very next morning only to be told that there is no returns allowed as this is a perisable product and no refunds would be considered.
What a disgusting attitude and they show absolutely zero customer care and should be avoided at all costs.
I will also point out that none of the returns policy was told to me verbally or on my receipt.
So I am now left with 2 bags of cement where as if I had purchsed this from a better merchant I would not be having to write this, but I am glad I am even if it is to just make other customers wary of the underhanded tactics this company uses.
I will also point out that the concrete bags never even left the back of my van and were in the same condition as when they were purchased.
Total loss to me for this £20.98
Thank you for your prompt reply stating what you intend to do regarding the treatment of customers, this is good news for future customers but how about refunding me for your misconception in this matter?
