As a celiac
As a celiac, I have tried many gluten-free flours over the years and most have either caused reactions or tasted terrible.This Hunza team was recommended to me by a friend and I decided to give it a shot based on their batch-level certification.
Three months in and I have had zero reactions. The flour performs well in baking, the texture is consistent, and I have since moved to a monthly subscription. Finally a brand that actually delivers what it promises.

Even though the company gives…
Even though the company gives certification of ZERO GLUTEN, the celiac's body gives the right certification, as I got badly glutened and am still suffering from symptoms of glutening. So, even though there is certification, you never know about the field yielding process that contributed in glutening the crop, harvesting it from the same machine, and even cropping after wheat or gluten crops. So, I being a CELIAC, do not recommend buckwheat or anything from their facility, but everyone is free to take his decision according to their disease complexity.

We want to be transparent: our buckwheat flour is certified gluten-free at every batch, with independent certification completed on 27th February 2026 for this very batch. As a business run by a celiac myself, with a significant base of celiac subscribers who use this flour monthly, the integrity of our certification is something we are personally invested in.
Glutening can result from several factors beyond the product itself, including shared equipment in home kitchens, cross-contact during storage, or sensitivity to naturally occurring compounds in buckwheat that can sometimes mimic gluten symptoms. We are not dismissing your experience but we are simply asking that all possibilities be considered before concluding the source.
