I bought my son his first "proper" RC car for his birthday in late April. The car was unpacked with great excitement, and my son was absolutely delighted with it.
Something didn't seem quite right to me, and it turns out that the motor was faulty and completely failed after being used four times. Howes, and in particular Nick, were absolutely fantastic. The problem was diagnosed by email, and a replacement motor was sent out without hesitation.
It was disappointing that the motor failed, but these things happen. The response from Howes was fantastic, it felt that someone actually cared and it was great to receive some old-fashioned, decent service.

Delivery was delayed but the product is really good

They were very helpful and I received my order in 3 days excellent

The models were exactly as described, in boxes, rather than in plastic packets which have been used for many years. They were therefore earlier, more accurate moldings with less flash than new kits. As such they were easier to make. They were carefully packed and promptly delivered.

Just received some batteries from you the new lithium ion the up grade brushless ones I was not very happy with the wire you have chosen to use silicon coated wire would be much better and the point were the wire goes in to the box is a stress point needs looking at replacing the grommet with something that more substantial would relieves the pressure on that point so the wires don’t break

Ordered some Tamiya pains from Howes models as a local company , one of the paints was missing so I phoned up the shop who were very apologetic and posted me the pot out in the post next day

Item arrived in a couple of days well packed, very pleased with the sound chip easy to install, fitted in less than an hour.

My experience wasnt great i ordered what was in the picture 2 propellers 2 controller switch handles and a boat fin .
I only received the propellers 1st and probably last time i order again
