Extremely rude customer service support…
Extremely rude customer service support that treated me with no consideration or care. Customer agent repeating the same line over and over despite me asking another question. Even making extremely rude comments without them obviously not knowing anyone’s personal circumstances. Housing hand has ignored my refund request now for over a month. I keep sending emails and they simply ignore them. Customer service and contact emails very badly structured and or monitored. I will simply avoid this company for the rest of my time renting. I advice you to do the same.

Malicious beaurocracy almost made me homeless
My housemate used this service, we were eventually (after almost 2 weeks of chasing) able to use this service but our issues were only resolved after essentially harassing the finance and complaints department and getting our estate agent to do the same. I was almost homeless because of this company's beaurocracy, despite the fact that he had paid upfront. The folks on the phone were very kind but seemingly powerless to actually help us at all beyond filing to make an issue 'urgent' on the day I was moving which then took 8 more hours, which doesnt seem very urgent to me. In these 8 hours, everything I owned had to be placed in the new home's front garden as we were not able to get keys until housing hand were able to get ONE SIGNATURE, which took 8 HOURS (and 2 weeks). Ridiculous and appauling incompetence.

Rude & Incompetent Customer Support
Extremely rude customer service support that treated me with no consideration or care. Left me running around like a headless chicken trying to get hold of the appropriate members of their team. Late responses on everything that I asked of them to the point where I was ringing way too often to even get a response about my application status on anything I did. Hung up on by customer support staff for no reason several times and basically told off by the team for following instructions that they gave me.

Delayed Response
They delay the signing of the guarantor deed until last minute, causing unnecessary stress. Yes, the application part is easy, but actually waiting for them to become your guarantor is not. Their customer service is also not that great, giving vague answers as well as responding after multiple business days. I would say to use another service but I don’t know any other ones.

The application process was really stressful for me , as I had issues with uploading my documentation , however I did call and sent emails several times no one responded or helped , until days later I had to call again and insisted to speak to a human not Ai as Ai is their customer service, and to Nuno who was my supposed assigned member to my application, never responded to my emails ,the application was a really poor service.
However after the application was completed it’s been great 👍🏼💯

Extremely slow application process-Please deal with my application as soon as possible
My guarantor application process has been extremely slow and has already taken almost two weeks. I now have less than one week before I need to move into my new accommodation, so this delay is causing me a great deal of stress and uncertainty.
For the past two days, I have been completely unable to contact my case manager Temitope. Both my landlord and I have sent multiple emails and made numerous phone calls, but we have received no response whatsoever. Also, the phone number on the website only connects me to an AI system.
As a tenant facing an imminent move-in date, I find this level of communication and support extremely disappointing. I understand that applications can take time, but completely losing contact with the assigned case manager at such a critical stage is unacceptable. I urgently need an update and proper communication regarding my application.

Atrocious experience
My experience with Housing Hand was extremely disappointing.
The application process dragged on for weeks while I was repeatedly asked for documents and clarifications. Throughout this period, I was left in a state of uncertainty regarding my accommodation despite responding promptly and providing the information requested.
My case was handled by Nuno Santos. Unfortunately, I found the communication slow and the overall process unnecessarily prolonged. I often felt I was chasing progress rather than being guided through the application. The delay caused a considerable amount of stress at a time when securing accommodation was already time-sensitive.
Housing Hand also contacted my employer for further confirmation despite my employment contract already outlining the nature of my employment. After several weeks of back-and-forth, the application was ultimately rejected because my contract was considered temporary.
What makes this even more frustrating is that after Housing Hand rejected my application, I approached a different guarantor provider and received approval within a matter of days. The contrast in efficiency and customer experience was significant.
For students and recent graduates, time is critical when arranging accommodation. In my experience, Housing Hand created weeks of uncertainty only to arrive at a decision that could likely have been reached much earlier.
I would not use this service again and would not recommend it based on my experience.
