Excellent service, above and beyond, highly recommend.
I contacted House Clearance Scotland to conduct a Bereavement Clearance at my late mothers' property. Alfie took the initial phone call, met me the following day and assessed the requirement. Price was fair and the team were at the property the following week. I highlighted to the team what to leave and noted that I wanted the property cleaned. Everything was completed to a very high standard and I was incredibly impressed with everything. Cannot recommend enough. They even called about a banister they found that I was planning to put back up, they did that bit for me. Massively appreciate as definitely wasn't their job to do.

Highly recommended
Cannot recommend Alfred and his team highly enough for speed of response, thoroughness and empathy. What felt like a daunting task was carried out quickly and efficiently, from the visit and quote the same day as our enquiry, to the actual clearance a few days later when we were kept up to date with progress throughout. An excellent job.

Brilliant experience with House Clearance Scotland Ltd
We had a brilliant experience with House Clearance Scotland Ltd.
From the initial phone call to Alfie at 7:15am, his guys Declan & Gary were on site by mid morning and our property was emptied by mid afternoon.
A very professional company, with great communication throughout. Not only did they remove the furniture, the property was vacuumed and cleaned before their departure.
Will definitely use Alfie & the team if required in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

one of the best decisions I’ve ever made
I can’t fully explain the impact Alfred and his team had on my life when I was at my lowest point last year. They aren’t just clearance experts; they took me through my own personal hell and out the other side. In the midst of bereavement, divorce, and a personal financial crisis, Alfred went above and beyond. He showed me that what seemed impossible and daunting, was possible and within my control.
He understood exactly what I could and couldn’t handle when it came time to clear my mum’s flat. And the job they did in clearing (and cleaning!) it was stellar.
A huge amount of experience and knowledge has given Alfred a wisdom about dealing with bereavement clearance that I never expected from anyone.
Whatever type of clearance it is, don’t think of using anyone else. Seriously.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this.
We are incredibly glad that, during such a painful and overwhelming period in your life, we were able to support you in a way that made things feel a little more manageable. Being trusted to help at such a vulnerable time is something we never take lightly, and we are truly grateful you felt understood and supported throughout the process.
Clearing a loved one’s home, especially in the midst of bereavement and everything else you were carrying, is never “just a job.”
Thank you again for your trust, your kindness, and for sharing something so personal. We wish you nothing but steadier, brighter days ahead.
Warmest regards,

Grateful Thanks
My grateful thanks goes to Lewis and Stefan who were extremely polite and thoughtful gentlemen. They were respectful and hard working. As I am moving some distance away into a much smaller property, knowing that everything is going to a good and worthy cause made the whole experience worthwhile. Thank you so much Alfred 'The Boss' for all of your help and advice.

You are in safe reliable hands with House Clearance Scotland.
I would highly recommend House Clearance Scotland, I was very time limited and feeling overwhelmed at the amount of work needed to clear out my late fathers home, but as soon as I spoke to Alfred a huge weight was lifted. He was kind, understanding and reassured me it would be no problem. Because of the very short notice he just asked for a few pictures of what was to be removed and then quoted me a very reasonable price considering how much work was involved. His team arrived on time and were very respectful and professional, they worked hard and had everything done in a couple of hours. I couldn't be there and had a family member there but Alfred kept me in loop sending photographs throughout the process. I am very grateful to Alfred and his team, I think they are genuine honest and very trustworthy. It's more than clearing a house, its clearing away stress.

Bereavement house clearance - sensitive and respectful
After my parents passed away, clearing their house was both a physical and emotional challenge. I contacted several companies, and it was obvious from the outset that Alfred and his team were quite different. They were real people who understood and cared. They approached the task sensitively and respectfully, which made it much easier for me.

Empathetic, Efficient, Excellent
If you’re looking for a house clearance, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alfie and his team. We were clearing a property due to a bereavement, and from our very first phone call with Alfie we found him and everyone at House Clearance Scotland to be exceptionally understanding and thoughtful. The two staff members who attended on the day of the clearance, Lewis and Stefan, were friendly, polite and intensely hard-working. From start to finish, the team have been as empathetic as they are efficient. Thank you for making such a difficult job, physically and emotionally, that little bit easier.

Furniture removal and house cleaning
Very fast response from my initial request. They visited the property the following day to give me a quote and the furniture removal happened within a week of my initial phone call.
Did a great job of handling large furniture pieces and cleaning the house afterwards.
Alfred kept me informed of when they were going to be at the property and with regular updates on how the job was going, as I couldn't be there when they were.
Very friendly and helpful service throughout as they cleared my mother's house before it was sold, and none of the furniture went to landfill.
I highly recommend them.

Outlandish quote
Whilst this company’s communication and response was good, they massively inflated their quote, in my opinion to a ridiculous level and looking to exploit my circumstances. I got an English company to do a cracking job in half the time and for nearly a QUARTER of the cost Alfred quoted.
