Where this fell apart was the customer experience. I made an error in my measurements (my fault), but I specifically requested a confirmation call before production and never received one. A quick check could have prevented the issue entirely.

When I reached out, I wasn’t asking for a full refund—just some level of reasonable support or compromise on a product that’s now unusable. Instead, I got a strict policy response and a tone that came across more defensive than helpful.

I understand custom items are non-refundable, but good customer service is about how you handle situations like this. A little flexibility or accountability would have gone a long way.

If you order, triple-check your measurements because once it’s submitted, you’re completely on your own.

Our new cover arrived today - perfect fit and as ordered. Free shipping was what made the deal for me. The website was easy to navigate. Staff reached out immediately on a Saturday to confirm the non-standard measurements on out nearly 20-year old spa. The cover arrived only 12 days after placing the order. My last cover replacement took months with a difference site.

I don't give many 5-star reviews -- you have to be at the top of your game to get that in my book (and 4-star is pretty darn good in that book).

But the service, delivery and product from Hot Tub Cover Spot deserves it. It was easy to order, they were quick to reconfirm my order and clear up any confusion that I created, product was ready in about four or five weeks (during the holidays) and delivered promptly, It was easy to install, and has done well in both cold and hot weather (here in Texas we've had ice and 90 degree days in the couple months since it arrived). Wish I had ordered it much sooner!

The original cover that came with my hot tub had gotten moldy on the underside and absorbed so much water that I could hardly lift it which made using my hot tub more of a chore rather that the pleasant relaxing experience it should be. The Hot Tub Cover Spot made a new cover to the specification of the original cover which included a raised portion for the waterfall feature of my tub. The workmanship is flawless and the cover looks better than the original which would have cost twice as much to order from the manufacturer, I highly recommend the Hot Tube Cover Spot!

Very good tub cover, fits perfectly and we really love the sky-blue color. The shipping worked perfectly, although the shipping company's webpage for setting up a delivery time did not work for me. The trucking company called, delivered quickly and the driver was great. Communication was excellent.

Got my new spa cover from Hot Tub Cover Spot and everything went great. The cover itself looks great, I love the Weather Shield material and look and fits nice and it was the best price than the local spa shops in town and online.

The delivery was also much appreciated as they carried it all the way into my back yard. The customer service and owner have been excellent as they provided great communication on lead time, delivery and checking if the order went well even after delivery. Highly recommend!

It was part of my reason for selecting them initially; It was very clear what I was ordering - in particular dimensions and the fold orientation were clearly defined. We just purchased a new hot tub cover from Hot Tub Cover Spot. I built my own hot tub and needed a custom, oversized cover. I explored multiple local companies and different online companies and no one could help us with our request. Mike immediately jumped on it when I contact him and ran through the options that I had. We decided on a 3 panel cover that is 112" x 103" - its really big! He worked with me through every step and the end product is such a great cover! Its easy to lift and maneuver even with it being so large, it fits perfect around the perimeter of the hot tub with the tie-down straps in the correct locations, and we even designed a cut out so the cover would sit flush because of the topside control panel. On-line ordering was straight forward though I would have liked the option to enter my Hot Tub info and have the size selected for me. Lots of options.

I was notified of order being started and when it was shipped. Shipping time was only 2 weeks but I think being in Dallas helped. Cover arrived undamaged.

The dimensions matched what I ordered and it fits my hot tub very well. We like the look and the quality. Have had it for about a month and we like the look and the quality. It is very nice have a non-water logged cover that is much easier to open.

Cost was less than quote for original Hot Spring Spa cover and I think the design is better.

Highly recommend this company.

Absolutely beautiful, high quality and custom made as we have a pretty non typical shaped hot tub, Mike talked us through the process of measuring and came up with several templates for us to choose the style for us. The communication was phenomenal and the price was fair!

Bought new cover here. Within a month!! I noticed water getting inside vinyl cover, but not core. It started to sag. I notified them and they said keep an eye on it. The amount of water inside got so bad that the weight of water cracked the foam core...I cannot lift one side due to the water weight now. They said it was customer fault and they denied warranty. Lasted less than 1 year. DO NOT recommend at all. Wasted almost $500. Ive had at least 4-5 covers and NEVER had this happen.
