Everything was perfect

I loved the box. I've done 1 of the projects. I love. I'm happy to be getting a mi they box. Everything was just prefect. The patterns were clear and easy to read. Thank you !!!!!

To be honest- I have not tried one of the projects yet. But the yarn was so soft and the patterns seem easy to follow along with!

I just unboxed my first crocheting kit and am so excited! The yarn is so soft and it comes with instructions which is perfect for beginners like myself. I also love the extra gift in the box! Will definitely be continuing my subscription with them. They where also very attentive with questions while waiting for my box

The first box made my day! I was walking with it throughout the house and continue working wherever I sat down!
The only issue was that I was disappointed that I had to choose just one of the projects as there weren't enough yarn for all three of them. I worked on the headband. The crocheting was easy but the part where I had to weave the two pieces wasn't clear in the book.

For the price I'd love one more skein. I appreciate the scissors and hook. As an experienced hooker, I have several sets of hooks that are my go-to depending on the project, so it would be cool to trade that hook for another skein or other tool as I most likely won't use theirs. It seems to be a nice quality, so anyone new would be lucky to have it in their possession. I love that the projects are different and not all clothing, or all house things, etc.

Love love love my new back pack. Perfect for taking my project back and forth to the cottage and the stitch guide has needle measuring tools. I bought the yarn hanger too. So cute and handy. No more digging around for the centre. Looking forward to my first kit.

The yarn, needles, and other supplies in the subscription box are wonderful—great quality all around. The patterns provided were fun and easy to follow. However, I made two out of the three designs, and both turned out smaller than expected. For example, I completed the tri-colored scarf, and while it’s beautiful, it’s definitely more suited for a small child than an adult.

I purchased a 3-month subscription and am hoping the next box will include projects with more accurate sizing

I initially orders the extra yarn and am
Unable to stop it for future boxes. Also, today I received an email that a new order is ready to ship but I changed my order date and now I am unable to access my portal.

I wish I could give no stars. This company promises you will receive your first box in 2-6 days. It has been a week since I placed my order and all I can learn from the tracking number is that my package is stuck in Ohio. I emailed Hooks and Needles twice regarding this issue and received no reply to either email.

Do not order from this company. They are a scam!

This is an update to my first review.

I have changed my one star rating to a three.

I finally received my package - ten days after ordering - not the promised 2 to 6 days for the first box. I also finally received a reply.

I understand companies get busy. However, ignoring two emails and not responding until after I canceled my subscription, and after writing my first review, and after receiving my package, seems unacceptable.

I hope Hooks and Needles is using this opportunity to make some necessary adjustments to their customer service, so others do not share my experience.

I am new at crochet and have only mastered simple things like scarfs or blankets. I was looking for a way to broaden and challenge my skills but was not sure how to do it. I have trouble with just patterns as I need visual cues. So when I saw this I was excited! My first box had two cute gifts in it and pictures along with video tutorial for three different projects -a simple one, a medium difficulty and hard difficulty. Can’t wait for my next box!!!!

The idea is there, but this China shipping takes way too long. I ordered extra yarn and things on Jan 10th, and it is still just a created label for usps as of Jan 23rd. The box shipments also take almost 2 weeks to arrive after the charge is made. I do love the books and projects, the yarn quality seems good..but poor shipping and possible AI customer service as ther is either no response or an instant response after hitting send on my email.

I didn't care for the projects. I was going for a hat or a scarf.

It's exactly what I was looking for. The box brings all the tools I need to creat beautiful projects. I love that it gives me three different patterns for me to choose to create. The ease of learning step by step.

I am new to crochet!! I absolutely loved this box. I was easily able to finish the beginning headband and love it. In fact my husband asked me to make more of them for me to wear! I can’t wait to try the intermediate and expert patterns. I also can’t wait for my next box!!!

Great instructions with clear photos. I love the range of project options and the bonus recipe! I wanted to try this box so I could discover new yarns and try projects I wouldn’t normally try and I am not disappointed!
