Ordered a cashmere knitted poncho scarf…
Ordered a cashmere knitted poncho scarf from them months ago. Have contacted them numerous times that I never received my order. No response from them. All I keep getting are messages asking how I like my order. Have called numerous times and left messages because no one answers phone. Still no response. I had subscribed to their boxes but am cancelling because their customer service is non-existent! If I could give a minus score I would.

I actually love this
After my first box I'm excited to get the next! I'm fairly new to crochet and didn't quite know what to expect. I really wanted to make the basket but got intimidated so I made the headband instead- but I used the gray yarn- so I can work my way up & make the basket later. I'm currently using my own yarn to make the lovey. I gotta say this is way more fun than I expected & can't wait to continue!

Fixing my monthly subscription
I wasn’t ready for my monthly subscription to resume, so I immediately reached out to the email support team. Of course I was nervous, since email usually takes the longest, but within seconds I had a response and in 4 minutes (7:39 to 7:43) my issue had been resolved. I am completely blown away by the response time of the team, as well as the speed with which my issue was resolved. I love their monthly crochet boxes, and look forward to resuming in October!

Very disappointed
I have already left 2 reviews with no response. The box did not correspond with the patterns and the yarn was rough and an ugly color. I liked the tools given. If this is the norm, I will be canceling my subscription.

I have been a regular subscriber to…YouTube and found a project.
I have been a regular subscriber to Corrina and her YouTube channel, Just Vintage Crochet. From her website I have seen her open many Hooks & Needles boxes. I kept thinking about it and finally took the plunge and ordered my first box. Even though I did not do the projects that came with it, I did use the hook and yarn to do 2 hats from Corrina's channel. I really loved the quality of the yarn and the feel of it in my fingers. The price was worth it and I look forward to my next box, coming soon.

My First Hooks & Needles Box — Here’s What I Really Thought
I’m really impressed! The box had three super-soft skeins of Woodland Whisper yarn, a nice crochet hook, some basic tools, and a cute pair of scissors. The best part was the pattern booklet with three patterns for different skill levels. I jumped in with the beginner Sailor’s Knot Headband, and it was super easy to follow.
I appreciated that the kit had everything I needed to dive right in—no extra purchases required.
What I love about Hooks & Needles:
- They strike a great balance with their contents.
- Patterns cater to both beginners and experienced crocheters.
- It feels like a mini crochet retreat delivered to my door.
One suggestion: offering digital versions of the patterns would be nice for those who prefer working from devices, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, this box felt like a treat and sparked my creative energy. I can’t wait for the next one!

I got tired of paying too much for the…
I got tired of paying too much for the knitting and crochet box. I liked the yarn but the price of the useless pattern book was just a waste to me. I decided to try the amigurumi box. I ordered it on the June 4th. USPS said they delivered it on the 12th but I never got it. Reached out to customer services, they emailed right back saying they would fix it. They emailed me back each time I emailed until the 13th, then radio silence. I have sent two emails a day since then and still no response. It is now the 18th. So I am out $30 but they still want me to review the box I got. And they want to to sign up for the yarn only box. Yeah, I have wasted enough money, thank you!

I like the projects in the box
I like the projects in the box. I've never dealt with a twisted hank before and utterly messed up my yarn. Spent 3hrs untangling the mess I made and wound the yarn into a ball to use.

Hooks and needles monthly subscription box is a wonderful treat for us that love to crochet and knot. High quality materials amd surprises in each box, that is well worth the price! I accidentally ordered the knitting box instead of the crochet box, but their customer service was excellent, and very helpful!

I just realized that there are video tutorials with the patterns! I didn't notice this on my first box so I thought it was a new thing they added. I'm just a fool and didn't notice the first time. The tutorials are the absolute best! I felt confident enough to take on the advanced project this time!

Ordered my first box May 9th. Still have not received. You keep sending me questions about how I like my box and I keep telling you I have not received it yet. Guess you don’t read emails. My tracking says the box didn’t leave your facility for almost 6 days and now after 5 days it has finally left Seattle, Wa. YOU should probably hold out on sending me the 2nd box until I have and inspect (and received) my 1st box! Please email me that you understand this email and will hold out on 2nd box. Pam

Kind, Friendly. Easy to Understand
Customer service was very kind and helpful through the whole process. I live in Hawaii so it took a little longer than expected but otherwise, I didn't run into any issues with my order. Everything I got is easy to understand and I can't wait to get started on new projects as well as finishing my Great Grandma's projects she left behind when she passed away.
