Wrong Voltage
Ok, there are some negative feedbacks here, and I can understand that. Ordered a cordless Vac....luckily, they told me that would have the wrong voltage, 110 V versus the 230-volt needed here in NZ. Communication was great as they were trying to help me with a voltage converter. Also offered a full refund.
Yes, I didn't get want I wanted, but refund was processed promptly. Great service.
Warning for electronics - shipped from US
Warning! Some electronics sold on this site won't work in NZ! I bought a Hakko soldering iron used for stained glass. There is no indication on the webpage that it is a US appliance and that it would need a step-down voltage adapter to work properly under NZ voltage (as well as a plug adapter to fit our pins). I found this out the hard way, by plugging it in on NZ voltage and damaging the ceramic filament. After investigating locally, it was going to be a mission and costly to get an adapter and repair the filament. Although frustrating, I have given Homeloft 4 stars, because the returns service was prompt and helpful, suggesting solutions but eventually offered a full refund.

If there was a negative rating I would use it. Do not use this company. It is not based in NZ and therefore have to return products to the US at your own expense, plus incur a 15% tariff. This is not mentioned on the website and is misleading and false advertising. I thought I could post in back to the "mailing address" they state on the webiste and incur the cost, but it is a company in the US. The product is of poor quality. I paid $137 and I can get the same product for $15 in Mitre 10 and Bunnings.
I have contacted them and they have offered $20 and no refund. I want a full refund and accept I will have to incur the domestic postage charge but that is $10, not $40 plus a 15% US tariff. These companies should not be allowed to operate this way. They put people off using online companies as its hard to tell which companies are based in NZ or overseas. Especially when there is nothing on their website to indicate an overseas address and their mailing address is in Auckland.
Update :Homeloft have said they have already been in touch. They have sent me 8/9 similar/ standard emails offering me $20 off the price. I paid &140 for for the item that I cannot use. Think the only option now is to go to the disputes tribunal and see what the outcome is there.

Poor Supply
Poor Supply : My order was place 4 weeks ago and on the 3rd week I was told the goods would be delayed and to expect them in a week. Still no goods and I get the some old excuse, your order is being processed. I have now cancelled the order and was told 3-5 days to wait for the refund. Again 2 days later I have been told the refund will be processed in 3-5 days. I wonder what year that will be. NEVER will I order anything from Homeloft.

Poor cheap quality of framing
I ordered a framed art print which arrived with dirty scuffs around the edges, either marked during the framing or while it was put in the tight cardboard box without any protective wrapping around it. The frame itself was warped so one end sticks away from the wall and the actual print not completely cantered around the frame. Overall look - very cheap and shabby. Terrible quality for $362 NZD. I wish I had given this money to any artist. When I sent photos, the reply was - "product is still usable"!!! Completely missing the point of artwork which is to look aesthetically pleasing, its only function. I was offered 25% discount on the next purchase which will never happen.

Purchased rice cooker - US voltage only
Purchased rice cooker. Arrived with a US plug and could only be used on US voltage (or with a bulky voltage converter). This is not mentioned anywhere on the website and website gives the impression of supplying for NZ customers. Initially offered only a 15% discount or 30% voucher. Agreed to give a full refund only after I pointed out that the website is misleading and the product is potentially dangerous if used without the proper converter.

super hard return process
we purchased an airfryer through their online website, nowhere in description mentioned that product used USA voltage, which is not safe to use with NZ voltage. when we realised this, we asked for a return and refund. they require return to be made to USA which is extremely expensive and and they only cover a portion of this. so now i have to pay $260 extra to return this product. they dont comply with their obligations of informing customers on descriptions when there is different voltage etc. will never purchase their products again.
