We had an amazing two-week holiday in Malaysia, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Erin really listened to our interests and created a package tailored specifically to us, while also offering thoughtful and helpful suggestions we hadn’t considered.

The itinerary struck the perfect balance between activity and relaxation. We enjoyed exploring and experiencing new things, but never felt rushed or over-scheduled. The hotels were charming, personal, and very comfortable — each with its own individual character.

The food throughout the trip was fantastic, and all transfers ran smoothly with punctual, friendly, and helpful staff. We especially loved that the trip wasn’t overly structured, giving us plenty of freedom to discover places and experiences for ourselves.

A truly memorable holiday — highly recommended!

My husband and I have just returned from the most amazing trip to Costa Rica. This is our first time visiting this part of the world and we really appreciated Louise's help and advice developing an itinerary that suited our requirements. It was particularly helpful that Louise had personal experience of the hotels and activities we were considering. The whole trip ran very smoothly and exceeded our expectations on so many levels. We are already considering our next trip to South America and will certainly be using Louise and Holiday Architects again.

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Namibia. After initial ideas of what to do and where we go, we contacted Kirsty who put together a great itinerary for us. It was exactly what we wanted and Kirsty’s in-depth knowledge of the country meant that our many questions were answered before we set off. We also realised that our last destination in Namibia wasn’t far from Victoria Falls and Kirsty organised a transfer there which briefly involved crossing through Botswana.
Namibia lends itself to self driving and we saw so many variations of scenery from desert with red sand dunes to Etosha, the game park which was teeming with wildlife.
We often met Dutch, Swiss and German people on our travels. However, we were surprised at how few British tourists there were, especially as Namibia’s first language is English and we drive on the same side of the road plus we felt safe and the people are so friendly and helpful.

We went to India in January 2026, our second trip with HA but first time to India. The interaction and advice we received from Clare was first class and we did change the agenda around. It felt like nothing was too difficult to arrange or rearrange. On the trip itself, everything went like absolute clockwork. The local guides were just so knowledgeable and that really makes the difference. Had an absolutely fabulous time and again, HA get a thorough recommendation from us. Thank you - We’d give you 6 stars if we could.

We’re just back from a 3 week holiday in India which I can only describe as insanely brilliant. Clare at Holiday Architects listened to us and completely ‘got’ what we were after - smaller, boutique hotels, some countryside destinations (as well as great stays in Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur), plenty of walking and cooking/local eating opportunities and not too many early starts or very long link up journeys. Clare also helped us tag on a final, chill out week in Kerala, drifting on a houseboat and staying in a couple of top backwaters’ resorts, the last one right on the Arabian sea. She stayed in close touch with her excellent local travel company contacts whilst we were in India - our driver and guides were all fab and any minor issues quickly sorted. We highly recommend Clare and Holiday Architects - and will be back!

From an initial online enquiry I was contacted by Erin, who took time to determine our needs and desires. Within a couple of days she came back to us with a comprehensive itinerary which, over the following few days, we massaged between us to create a full and fabulous three centre holiday taking in Kuala Lumpur, Hoi An and Hue. On the actual holiday, the agreed itinerary went flawlessly, with the quality of the included hotels, transfers and tours being excellent. We had nothing to worry about but enjoying ourselves, and we did! We had a truly amazing time. Thank you Erin, an absolutely terrific job!

We have just come back from a fabulous holiday to CapeTown and the Winelands. As this was our first trip to Soufh Africa we wanted the planning and itinerary done by an expert and that's where Catherine from HA came in.
I can honestly say Catherine did a superb job, she asked our likes and wish lists and it all went to plan from the outbound flight to return to London Heathrow.
There were many highlights from the wine estate tours, CapecTown beaches and visit to Table mountain. I would certainly recommend Catherine and the HA team to everyone.

Just returned from our fantastic adventure in Sri Lanka. Lisa Jankus-Scott helped to organise a surprise trip for my husband’s birthday, she had various suggestions and the personalised itinerary exceeded all our expectations. This is the first time we have travelled with a chauffeur/guide but can definitely recommend it. Ananda was so helpful, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish and we would definitely use Holiday Architects again.

Clare organised a very varied trip for us in South India,having first listened to what we wanted. She was very willing to tweak our itinerary very late on

We had a great 2-week holiday in South India, thanks in no small measure to Holiday Architects whose India expert Clare put the itinerary together in conjunction with local agent partners. All of the places that we visited in Karnataka and Kerala were memorable. We stayed in very good accommodation, ate delicious (plentiful) food, learned a lot from expert guides in Mysore, Calicut and Cochin, and enjoyed the nature in Kabini, Wayanad and the Backwaters. Our driver Sanish was fantastic too. It was definitely worth asking HA to put the trip together, as it was very well planned by Clare and then flawlessly executed by the local team.

We have no hesitation in recommending Holiday Architects. We have just returned from our first trip with them, to Costa Rica. The Costa Rica specialist has first hand and extensive knowledge of the area, which was really helpful in our planning and became clear as this was our fourth and excellent visit to Costa Rica. The itinerary and lodges were well thought out for what we wanted, which was a nature orientated holiday. Our outward travel was frustrated by the technical failure of our aircraft and Holiday Architects were monitoring our new flights and keeping all parties informed.

We're just back from an amazing 17 day holiday in Sri Lanka, 'curated' by Rebecca. I say 'curated' because Rebecca took the trouble of exploring our particular interests and passions (birding and architecture !) and constructed an itinerary that best reflected these. The chosen boutique guest houses and small hotels were all delightful, the activities varied, appropriate and interesting and the services of the local agent, Pan Lanka, were faultless. Our driver-guide Jaya was a delight. Thanks Rebecca and the Holiday Architects team for a memorable travel experience.

We've just returned from a fabulous two-week holiday to Sri Lanka, carefully put together by Lisa J-S of HA, who knows the country well and understood perfectly what we were looking for in terms of types of location and hotels. She was so helpful throughout the planning and booking process, including securing excellent flights, making the whole holiday (from planning it to enjoying it!) so easy for us. This is the first time I have used HA but I'll go straight to them the next time we are planning a similar multi-location trip.

We enjoyed a fabulous 6-centre holiday in Morocco in November '25 - our first holiday with Holiday Architects. From our initial enquiry we were really impressed with Emma Higgins, who specialises in Morocco. She took time to listen to what was important to us, and pieced together an excellent itinerary with beautiful, unique places to stay. Her personal knowledge of the places was invaluable.
The local agents they use are top notch, and the drivers are very experienced and safe.

Just had 14 fantastic days in Malaysia.
The itinerary was perfect, all three hotels in Kuala Lumpar, Penang and Langkawi were luxurious and our private guides were first class.
Ian's planning was excellent from initial contact until the holiday. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and understood exactly what we wanted for our special trip.

This is the second time we have used Holiday Architects and this year we went to Costa Rica. Our destination manager was Louise Mumford and after spending time discussing our requirements, she put together a superb package within a reasonable budget. Louise has visited Costa Rica many times and was very familiar with all the places and hotels so she was able to give us some great tips. I would thoroughly recommend this company and it's specialist staff.

My wife and I were planning on returning to Vietnam and Malaysia, but wanted to add on a first visit to Laos as well. We had an idea of what we wanted and contacted Holiday Architects to see what help they could offer. Our contact, Erin, was extremely helpful, making suggestions on where we could visit, beyond our initial plans, and what excursions we could take to get the full benefit of our time in each country. She arranged everything so that as we arrived at each airport someone was waiting to take us to our next hotel, that guides turned up to show us round each city, and as we moved on someone came to each hotel to take us to the next airport or train station. Nine flights, eight hotels, one cruise, one high speed train journey all arranged and co-ordinated perfectly. We had a great holiday, saw lots of interesting things, fed elephants, ate too much ourselves, and had the time of our lives. Thanks very much Erin and Holiday Architects. We wholeheartedly recommend you and the company to other travellers who want a great holiday experience.

Fenton really listened to what we wanted to see in Vietnam and what we didn't want to spend too much time on, so our personalised itinerary really did tick all our boxes. We felt royally looked after all the way, seemed to have the best seats/spots/timings etc, the hotels were fabulous and we loved all our activities and tours. The guides and drivers were great too, very accommodating and easy to get on with, the local guides were fab too.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fenton and Holiday Architects and will certainly be using them again.

Ian organised a short trip to Jordan. Had a fabulous time visiting Petra and The Dead Sea.
I was helped as soon as I arrived at the airport, getting through customs and taken to my driver who was great company, I never felt rushed whenever I was picked up and always given plenty of time everywhere we visited.
Great care has been given to ensure you got a decent service, good driver, decent car which also had WiFi.
My guide at Petra was brilliant, very knowledgeable and also a very imaginative photographer.
The choice of hotels didn’t disappoint, one right next to Petra and the other had its own private part of the Dead Sea.
Where a lot of travel companies forget about you once you return back, I received an email asking about my trip. Not only shows that they care about your experience but it gives them an opportunity to improve if anything wasn’t satisfactory.
