I had a very disappointing experience with Hireteem. My first interview was abruptly canceled *after* I had already accessed the link and waited for over 30 minutes — no notice or explanation until after the fact. While I understand that things happen, the lack of communication was the first red flag.

Later, I had an interview with a woman who told me I was a great fit and that there were positions available for me. She said I would be contacted in 3 days with next steps. That never happened. I followed up with an email, which was completely ignored. Since May, I’ve been left hanging with no update, no feedback — nothing.

A simple “no,” “not selected,” or even “try again in 6 months” would have been more respectful than this total silence. Being ghosted after promising words and zero follow-up is unprofessional and reflects poorly on how this company treats candidates.

Great concept to help us save money on employees. Professional staff work, helps you find the right candidates! They can train the future staff to save us time and headaches. Strongly recommend Teem to others!

Signed up a few months ago. I felt that very fair expectations were sold to me when I signed up and for the most part, I feel that those expectations have been beat by the two wonderful team members that we hired. They’ve helped us pick up more phone calls, and alleviated stress at my front desk.

I also had a horrible experience - very similar to what another person posted on here about being lied to and misled. Very dissatisfied with this company.

We have been very happy with Teem. They hired 2 people for us. The first one has been with us over a year. She answers our phones and answers messages. She has done a great job and she feels like one of our internal employees. The second one didn't work out but the cool thing was that Teem alerted us to the fact that the second employee was not engaged on her computer the hours she claimed to be working so that gave us a heads up. After counseling her a couple of times, we let her go. I would definitely use HireTeem for our next remote employee. I am also comfortable that we are in compliance with all of the regulations we need to be because I think HireTeem is doing it right. I was not comfortable that some of the other companies are doing it correctly.

As a compliance expert, my concern has always been doing things in the most compliant, legal manner. TEEM stands apart here. We personally use TEEM for our company and are more than pleased. We find them to be totally honest and always willing to whatever we need to maintain a positive and productive relationship. I simply cannot say enough good about TEEM

I had a terrible experience with Teem. They misled me into believing their rate was $2,700/month for two virtual assistants, only to reveal after signing that the price jumps to $3,700/month starting month two. When I requested a refund before any services began, they refused, citing a no-refund policy.

On top of that, Teem falsely displayed a 4.7-star TrustPilot rating on their website despite not being listed here at all. After being called out, they replaced it with a fake 4.5-star Google rating. This lack of transparency and honesty is unacceptable—avoid this company.
