Quick delivery. Pleased with all of the features on the hi-fi system. No trouble with the DAB radio, or CDs skipping (which other people have commented don’t work for them). The free gift arrived separately the following day from delivery. Reliable make. Good value for the money. I’d definitely recommend the Steepletone Hi-fi.

Purchased this record player after comparing it with other makes, sound is excellent, delivery very fast, easy to set up. Would definitely recommend this product.

the unit tends to skip at the end of tracks on cd not all but its very irritating which i had not bought this unit my old one was far superior have lost interest in playing anything else total waste of money

My hi fi arrived in great condition and on time, I honestly think that my old vinyls have never sounded so clear the sound quality is very good.

I bought this unit after I had tried a couple of systems which proved to be of limited satisfaction, as they did not play all my cds. This unit is very nicely finished, of excellent quality, and plays everything. The speakers are pretty good too, I find the sound perfectly acceptable for my room size, although anyone wanting power sound would be better attaching something bigger and hooking them in via a receiver. I am reserving this as an option for the future, but even as it stands I recommend this unit as good value for money

While the order was fulfilled smoothly, I've had a persistent problem with the DAB+ radio in that when listening to the radio, system randomly locks up and, the only way to restore functionality is to power cycle the system. I initially approached HiFi Music Systems for support and was redirected to steepletone due to the music system being under warranty, to which I never received a reply. Disappointed to say the least.

Delivery was good. Item was easy to instal and instructions were easy to follow. The sound is brilliant.

Great easy service .. the system is good and has everything I need .. my only criticism is that the treble and bass is not as functional as it could be and the turntable arm doesn’t return to the side automatically when the record ends.

The order and delivery process was easy, quick and seamless, all very satisfactory.
The product itself, a Steepletone Houston XP 6-in-1 Music System, I find a bit underwhelming in its performance and handling. The sound from cassette and CD and external sources are acceptable for the price, also having all the available functions combined in one compact system is definitely an advantage. However, the turntable is slightly disappointing. It feels a bit flimsy and you have to put the arm down on the record manually, so it's almost inevitable to scratch the record. The sound is quite flat and tinny, and bass and treble adjustments don't make much of a difference. Another issue is the poor radio reception, the little antenna doesn't help much. Also, something I didn't expect is that you have to choose all the functions via one button, which you have to click multiple times to switch between functions. If you miss, which is easy to do because there are short delays while clicking through, you have to go through the whole list again. This is a nuisance and would have been so much easier with separate buttons for each function. Another slightly irritating characteristic of this system is the ever so slight background noise the speakers emit even when switched off, and which you can hear if it is otherwise completely quiet in the room. In addition, when you switch the system on or off, the speakers make a loud noise, which also is completely unnecessary.
In summary, I'm not unhappy enough to return the music system, but next time would definitely spend a little more money for something with better quality.

Great buy, speedy delivery time.Bit smaller than was expected but still has Great sound and even better with subwoofer i purchased.

Ordering and delivery were seamless. The music system is better than we were expecting from such a compact product, especially playing back some live recordings made on a small tape recorder in the 1980s! Similar satisfaction for old records, which was another reason for the purchase.

Hifi Music Systems were very helpful and dealt with my order quickly and competently. The reason I give 4 rather than 5 stars is not to do with them, but with the product itself. The Fi of the Steepletone Richmond, is not quite so high as the manufacturers pretend. It is true the machine is well made and solid, but the bass and treble controls have very limited response, and in my view Steepletone rather over-estimate the sound quality (and price) of the machine. This is the fault of Steepletone publicity material.

I would leave 0 if I could, purchased a Calm Alarm Clock, and the sound has stopped working within about 4 months cost £50. Have emailed twice and rang various times no response at all. Would never order from this company again, absolutely disgusting.
