⭐ Absolutely shocking service from Hey Baby Middlesbrough
I honestly wouldn’t recommend Hey Baby Middlesbrough to anyone after the experience I’ve had.
We were told we were having a boy, only to find out that we were actually having a girl. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way this has been handled afterwards has been absolutely disgraceful.
I got in touch over 6 weeks ago and was told the matter would be investigated and someone would be in touch. Nobody contacted me. I rang again last week, only to be told once again that a manager would contact me. After hearing nothing, I rang again today and was told that someone would be in touch next week.
Six weeks of chasing, being fobbed off with the same excuses, and not even a single apology! No accountability, no proper communication and absolutely no urgency in resolving the situation.
Getting something like this wrong is upsetting enough, but the way the situation has been dealt with afterwards has made it even worse. The complete lack of communication and the fact that I have had to keep chasing them myself is unacceptable.
Hey Baby Middlesbrough, you should be ashamed of how you have handled this. The very least I expected was an apology and for someone to take responsibility, instead of constantly being told that someone would get back to me.
I certainly wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience. The mistake was bad enough, but the lack of aftercare and basic customer service has been even more disappointing.
Six weeks later and I’m still chasing an apology. Absolutely appalling

Paid for a gender scan and was told the wrong gender. Very misleading and upsetting! Should of said “unknown” if she was unsure! Unprofessional, as the sonographer added me on Facebook and messaged asking how my 20-week scan went! I didn’t ask the hospital for the gender, because I paid HeyBaby4D Hayes for this service! When I gave birth and posted on Facebook, the sonographer messaged me and said, “Omg sorry, it’s a girl!”

It honestly feels like my little boy died, and my baby girl deserved to be acknowledged as who she was, right from when she was growing inside me.

The complaints team also felt completely heartless! I was offered a £30 refund — and apparently I should be grateful, as this was a “goodwill offer!” — only after I mentioned that the sonographer had messaged me. I only asked for a full refund, not compensation for everything I bought. I gave all the blue items away, as they reminded me of how poorly this was handled!

I am usually a forgiving person and believe that if I can’t say anything nice, then I shouldn’t say anything! However, others must be warned!

This company is absolutely amazing! They made me feel so special on one of the most important days of my life.

The three ladies who work there are incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was surrounded by friends and family rather than attending a clinic appointment.

They were so patient and understanding, especially as my baby wasn't making things easy and was sitting in an awkward position! They waited patiently and gave us all the time we needed until he finally moved so we could find out the gender. Their kindness and genuine care made the whole experience even more memorable.

As someone who works late, it can be very difficult to find a clinic that accommodates my schedule, so I was delighted to find that they are open until 8:00 pm. That flexibility made such a difference for me.

And I haven't even mentioned the price yet! The scans are very affordable and offer fantastic value for money. It is rare to find such excellent service at such reasonable prices.

Thank you for making this experience so special. It is a memory I will treasure forever, and I will definitely be returning for more scans throughout my pregnancy. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough! ❤️🥰👶✨ Valeria Guimaraes

Honestly I was so nervous and from the desk staff too the ultrasound everyone was so friendly and soothing.
Very clean and professional and worth every penny to have reassurance and check all was well at 6 weeks

Went to find out gender early and was a great experience start to finish. No waiting time. Lovely staff and knowledgeable ultrasonographer. Couldn’t fault it!

By far the best experience I’ve had yet & I have been for multiple scans with different companies. The scanner was lovely, very informative & receptionist were so warm and welcome. Will definitely be back. Not one bad thing to say & the cheapest price I’ve paid to date. Thanks again x

It was our first visit to HeyBaby4D in Barnsley today and what a superb experience. The front of house staff were very welcoming and great with our little boy. The sonographer David was super and gave us a great walk through of everything we were seeing and made the gender reveal really special. Would 100% recommend.

The ladies are all lovely and polite. My scans have been so good and would always go back.

I went to have a 4d scan at 24 weeks in hull with twins and although baby 2s pic were much better I was a little disappointed in twin 1 and don’t think we really got any of the baby we could use this was the best out the bunch also when watching I couldn’t really see much of the facial and to say I paid £100 it seems a lot for the quality not sure if that’s just a twin issue as I’ve been going to 4d scans with single pregnancies here which was beautiful .. the staff and building are amazing can’t fault that I was just a little disappointed in the pictures.

Won’t be using here again was told I have had a missed miscarriage because I was early and didn’t offer a rescan for a later date. didn’t receive my gift pack that was included either the mam bottle and soother very disappointed with the service that was provided here
