I would like to publicly thank the hert police team for there amazing and fast response today. I was threatened and pointed at with a weapon by a tenant doing my routine maintainance check. Never imagined that I would be in danger doing my routine checks on properties. Never imagined fearing for my life. Thanks to the police fast response and zero tolerance for any type of threats on life the person was apprehend and weapon was secured. Thanks to a brilliant team of officers that made a proper plan and executed it flawlessly and thanks to the kind and patient officer that took my statement badge number 1549 I belive. Very patient and understanding after I was a bit shaken up. Again I say thanks on a job well done. Hemel Hempstead police are the best.

No place in the police force for this gungum lamentable idiot. It needs to go, and go quickly.

I have just seen a distressing bodycam video of PC GunGum from Herts police abusing his powers when he searched and humiliated a member of the public after making false allegations that the person detained was looking into cars, causing public order issues and even conspiracy to steal.
I am shocked and appalled that this officer is being given the power to do this to members of the public. I think he is a dangerous individual and frankly a disgrace to the Hertfordshire police. I hope he has now been dismissed. His own bodycam footage shows him humiliating, antagonising and abusing a member of the public with utter lack of respect and professionalism. Sadly the other officers who were present failed in their duty to point out to PC GunGum that he was wrong therefore they are complicit in allowing the detainment and humiliation to continue. Shameful behaviour from Herts police, really.

Just watched a bodycam video of PC GunGum from Herts police abusing his powers when he searched an individual after making false claims the individual detained was looking into cars. PC GunGum is a disgrace to Herts police and should be dismissed. His own bodycam footage shows him up as being a corrupt Constable. Also the other Constables present failed in their duty to point out to PC GunGum that he was wrong therefore they are complicit in allowing the detainment to continue.

Appalled. 4 years i had been calling the police about an emergency. No one came to my address to collect any evidence, my case was always closed. The situation got so bad that im now residing in a new area because Hertfordshire is seriously unsafe with the amount of abuse, physical and phycological, gangs. Etc
Do not pick Hertfordshire to live in, it will be your worst mistake.

Widely reported in UK media that Samuel Smith has been awarded £34 thousand pounds for wrongful arrest and detention for social media posts.
This is not a unique thing for this Force who have previously paid out for similar mistake

Just disgraceful behaviour by PC Gungum, he is an embarrassment to the force and as a taxpayer I refuse to fund a clown like this who has no respect for the people he serves and zero idea of the law.

I have just seen the bodycam footage of a PC Gungum harrassing, verbally insulting and illegally detaining and arresting a vlogger. I hope this pathetic little PC has been reprimanded and retrained as an absolute minimum. With his,attitude he should be nowhere near any member of the public as he quite clearly cannot control his emotions.

Just seen a video of PC gum gum arreast and abuse a camera man , he will claim against yourself and he will win, wouldn’t it be cheaper to train your officers, clearly this gumgum has issues .

After 4 plus years waiting for Police and the Council to deal with drug addict/dealer council tenants we were forced to leave the house and rent- i was living mortgage free having downsized to what was supposed to be a forever manageable home.
Despite catching these individuals drug friends during, not one but two drug raids, having their dealer at our door in error, also known to Police, having Police self congratulatory email at 1.07 telling me they had caught some individuals i had sent to them from my CCTV footage, they did absolutely nothing to help- despite over 200 plus Police reports.
Having been forced out Curtis Banks 511 told us on the phone that he was fully aware of the addicts: stating she had been very Open about it and we cant smell Cannabis in our house due to Osmosis, meaning they knew all along. So rather than be honest from the outset, wasted our time and wellbeing playing a game of report it and you will get action, to 3 years on saying, we were never coming out thats not our remit.
Our experience with this force is that they rely on PCSO Community Policing, which is basically sweep the drugs/dealing under the carpet. Then if people start getting sick of these Anti Social nutters, turn on the victims. Banks leading the way with another useless idiot called Harry Underwood, who seeks to read my mind yet cant read his own. A total lack of intelligence, i question who gave these people a job?
Absolutely no faith in Police in Hertfordshire, utter contempt in fact! You really need to stop charging for these lot to drive around in fast cars that we, the taxpayer are paying for. I despise them so much!

Utterly vile and useless. Allowed my previous neighbour to stink out my house for 4 years with her drugs all day every day. Aswell as being constantly violent. Pretended they knew nothing of this neighbour until I moved out (Paying £1000 a month in rent.) to then ring up and say that actually they knew all about this tenant 4 years ago, they just lied to our face constantly for 4 years.
Now they've been found out, they're starting to get angry with us. Turns out this neighbour they pretended not to know about, has actually been raided for drugs twice, given numerous violence markers over 10 years ( after she's caused trouble with and a variety of different neighbours.) If PCSO Curtis Banks, Paul Jeffs' or Harry Underwood are put on a crime to help you, just know they'll do anything but and will lie to your face for 4 years with no issue. I think they're actually evil and have allowed my family's life to be made a living hell. Let's hope that karma is real and hits these people, especially the three that I've named above. Nasty liars.

5 STARS IN EVERY WAY EXCEPT FOR THE COMPLAINT SYSTEM.
I FOUND THE OPCC AND THE IOPC RIDICULOUS. THERE ARE INLY TWO IOPC OFFICES TO COVER THE WHILE OF ENGLAND SO IT MUST BE NEAR ENOUGH IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO DO ALL THAT WORK.
AND I AM A HUMAN BEING, I AM NOT PLUGGED IN THE WALL, I RUN OFF NATURE.
I DO NOT THINK PEOPLE SHOULD BE USING THE INTERNET IN THEIR WORKPLACE. A WAR OR SOME OTHER SORT OF PROBLEM COULD START IN A MATTER OF SECONDS. SCARY.
IT ALSO SEEMS TO FORGET ABOUT THE DATA PROTECTION LAWS AS THEY WERE WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT WHICH WERE CAREFULLY PLANNED TO CARE ABOUT EVERYBODY AND EVERYTHING.
OTHER THAN THAT THE THE POLICE DO A GOOD JOB, DRIVING ALONG IN BOILING HOT WEATHER, IN BULLET PROOF VESTS, RISKING THEIR OWN SAFETY TO LOOK AFTER EVERYBODY AND NEVER IGNORE A CALL.
SIRENS CAN BE A BIT TOO NOISY SOMETIMES.

We rang the police to report a sinkhole in Welwyn Garden City on Bessemer Road. We are very concerned that this could cause an accident. They were simply not interested, said it wasn’t their job and told us to report it to the council. We have managed to email the council, but it’s a Sunday so no direct communication. Their attitude to us was not very pleasant or helpful.
