Straight Forward Booking
Fantastic!!! You book and straight away your get the airline ticket locator number then you go to the airline website and you see your booking there. No surprises, no doggy twist and turn, straight forward and simple, no drama. No extra charges for using credit card to pay.

No Customer Service!
Absolutely no access to customer service, I've been trying to get through to the phone number provided on the website and the one in the helloworld store and nothing! I've been trying tor 2 weeks now, and apparently the helloworld store has nothing to do with the online purchase of tickets!
I need to change my ticket, that is all. I can't imagine the stress I would feel if I was overseas and stuck! Can't even get through to anyone to make a simple date change :(

Where do I start?
FIRST EXPERIENCE (MARCH/APRIL 2015)
- Booking confirmation not sent
- Mystery charge on credit card (turned out to be undisclosed temporary authorization)
- Received spam
- Got to hotel, only for staff to be unable to locate booking
SECOND EXPERIENCE (AUGUST/OCTOBER 2015)
- Double-charged
- Booking canceled without authorization and needed to be re-booked at higher cost
- Mystery charge on credit card (turned out to be undisclosed temporary authorization)
- Multiple other mystery charges resulting in card being blocked
- Initial lack of response and subsequent incompetent responses
- Arrogant attitude
THIRD EXPERIENCE (OCTOBER 2015)
- Final booking purely to monetize compensation voucher

Our on hold for 25 minutes before anyone answers a call. I have tried to change flight dates and a guy tried to charge me am additional $414.00 to change flight dates per passenger. I'd already called previously and the charge was going to be around $500 for both passengers. When I informed him off this he explained how I want listening to him. He told me the price was subject to change. The new prove he was trying to charge me per flight, (an additional $283.00) there wasn't even a flight in that price range on the helloworld.com.au site with the same airline I had originally booked with. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was advised I maybe cut off. I questioned why I would be cut off when he was the one transferring me internally to his supervisor. He put me on hold AGAIN then came back and abused me a supervisor would ring me back within the hour. Trying to jack up prices to make your commission is a disgusting way to do customer service and completely frustrating. I have gone back and double checked the website and listed prices. This is outrageous. I'm more then willing to pay for changes but not at the price of two more tickets.

Website problems let the whole experience down
After completing the details of my booking and adding payment details i went to complete my order, however the next page informed me that my order was unsuccessful and to try again. I then completed all the details again and completed the order successfully. Upon received the confirmation email i checked my bank account to find the payment had been taken twice.
The customer service team were somewhat helpful after being on hold for a while and the supervisor that i raised a complaint with was helpful.

Terrible experience, ticket was not issued in time and airline had to re-issue a new ticket to check in.
Helloworld have the worst customer experience. I booked a ticket and they didn't issue it in time for the flight, British Airways were as frustrated as me and I was on the phone for over 45 minutes on hold with Helloworld to try and get the ticket re-issued.
It takes a matter of seconds to issue a ticket in the GDS. If they say otherwise, it's total rubbish. Helloworld took my payment and then didn't issue the ticket in time, so I had to buy a new ticket from british airways so that I could check in and board the flight.
I will NEVER book with helloworld again.
