They take your card details at the start and advertise a cheaper first box price (for example, €27). However, the website is very confusing. Food selections are pre-chosen at a much higher premium, and a significantly larger amount was taken from my bank account without my permission.
I’m not the only person this has happened to — others I know have experienced the same issue. Customer service may offer a “half-price box” or a partial refund to bring the cost closer to what you originally agreed to pay, which feels like an attempt to stop people from pursuing the full refund for the higher charge.

Great service overall!
I can plan meals up to four weeks in advance, which saves a huge amount of time otherwise spent deciding what to cook, walking through shops, and trying to organise everything. It’s also helped us cut down on random spending.
We’ve been using HelloFresh for about six months now, and I still haven’t had to repeat a recipe—the variety is excellent. Whether it’s vegetarian, beef, pork, chicken, or fish, there’s always something for everyone.
The ingredients are consistently fresh, and delivery has been reliable every time. Customer service has also been very helpful whenever we’ve had a question or issue.
The only downside is that while there are great offers for new customers — like 50% off the first box and discounts on the next few, a gift, or free desserts — it would be nice to see some rewards or perks for loyal, long-term customers as well.

If you are too late checking the order you end up with a meal with unwanted ingredients. In my case pork. It is not possible to block out ingredients for follow up meals.

It’s great to plan ahead and have the food you’re going to eat delivered to your door.
No more ‘What will we eat’!
Of course this eliminates food wastage.

We are a family of 7 - two adults and five children and we find that a box for 4 adults feeds us all so it works out better value per week, no waste and no having to think about recipes and what to cook in a busy house

Be better
They have an option to pause your account and somehow your hellofresh order still comes even after pausing your account. Some of the dishes are actually disgusting for example the green curry and boda bowl but loved the peanut stew one and tbh I'm not really sure yiur saving at all alot of the dishes are really cheap to make yourself at home

I was sceptical at first but that changed once I saw the level of organisation of the menus and quality of the food delivered. My husband and I shared the prep and in no time we had our dinners. They were delicious. Beyond our expectations.

I’m really happy with HelloFresh so…
I’m really happy with HelloFresh so far. The meals are very tasty and the ingredients are fresh. There’s a great variety of dishes to choose from.
The “Calorie Smart” options are really helpful for staying on track with my diet. The recipes are simple and easy to follow, my son can prepare most of the meals on his own, which is a big plus.
Since we started, our diet has become much more varied and my son is trying new foods, which I’m really happy about. Overall, a very convenient and enjoyable experience

I love Hello Fresh I find the flavours and variety great and it really keeps me on track cooking nice meals each day. It would have been a 5 star review but I feel like the portion sizes are sometimes small especially for veg and I have had a few times recently where veg was not of the best quality freshness when my order was received

The quality of the ingredients is…
The quality of the ingredients is brilliant and it is quite affordable. The dinners are very tasty and most of the portion sizes are perfect. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that you cant set a certain day to pay in the week. Personally ive had my card blocked because they tried taking out the payment so many times on one day but I dont get paid until the next day. It would be alot better if you could align the payment day with the day you get paid
