Helen’s honey is loved by all of my family, the grandchildren have it everyday on their porridge, it is delicious on toast or in a sandwich. We use it in our cups of tea instead of sugar. It also works wonders as a soothing hot drink, honey with lemon as soon as we think we might have a cold coming.

I was very pleased and excited to receive a Beekeeping Discovery Experience for Helens Local Honey as a Christmas gift last year. On visiting Helens Local Honey, I was amazed and thoroughly enjoyed the information Helen shared and the opportunity to visit and experience the hives. Helen was most welcoming and provided an informative session, anticipating and answering our questions and providing us with insights into beekeeping and honey production. A totally amazing and unforgettable experience. The fact that the experience ended with an opportunity to taste different batches of honey was an added bonus.

I was given a jar of this local honey, it really is the nicest honey I’ve ever tasted. It’s smooth, sweet, and has such a great natural flavour — you can tell it’s made with real care. I’ve never had anything quite like it. Just found out they have it in my village store so won't be buying any branded honey again.

We had a lovely afternoon with Helen doing a Beehive tour experience. Her expertise was shared with us, in such an honest and careful manner. Her love for what she does really comes out in her work. The tasting of honey afterwards was delicious. I highly recommend this experience to others adults and children alike.

I came across these guys at a village fete in Bodicote. The thing that struck me was how they handled the bees - the gentle and compassionate way they treated/respected these insects. I hadn't realised that insects need welfare too. I bought some honey and we love it.
