Good food, easy to heat, tasty

Small portions, very much doubt they contain the calories etc in the label. Bland, and overall a disappointing experience. Mediterranean Vegetables Pasta, as an example contained a handful of pasta twirls, 2 peices of red onion, a price of corgette and some generic tomato sauce. I'd look elsewhere and after trying 10 of their "meals" I have a decent feel for what they are like.

This is my first experience with healthy kitchen meals, I’m recently getting over illness and it’s fantastic. This saves me from going out, extra time/energy cooking and means that myself and my daughter both get to eat well without breaking the bank. Very pleased so far.

Came across Healthy Living Kitchen on Instagram and thought I’d place an order, I liked the fact you could scan it on MyFitnessPal app and the data was already there plus I had been looking for healthy prep meals for a few weeks, Website is so easy to use and always arrives well packed and chilled! I can’t fault anything and have to give HLK a 10/10! There meals are amazing and I have recommended a few of my fitness friends to try HLK! Great value too! I have saved £££ by not visiting supermarkets

I ordered the 20 meal bundle, so each meal worked out at £2.12 each. I can't believe how good the meals have been. £2.12 is what you would pay for a decent ready meal anyway in supermarkets. But these have more choice and are healthier, plus I've frozen a few to keep them fresh. There not huge meals but that's part of the portion and calorie control. Is lovely to see a local business in Carlisle take off and be doing so well.

Sauceless,dry curries. 336 calories for a lump of dry chicken and dry rice. Not worth the money. Not an enjoyable experience.

absolutely love these meals and cannot fault them for the amazing price ! Living alone and trying to eat healthy is hard at times but these meals make it easy to heat something with great nutrition and filling up after a long day at work. Also easy to add extra veg/ salad , thankyou healthy living kitchen

I've been thoroughly impressed with not only the quality of the product provided by Healthy Kitchen but also the service. There was a small issue initially with delivery (down to the courier) but the team at Healthy Kitchen were very quick to offer a solution. The food itself is great, tastes fresh and the portion sizes are bang on. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for convenient, tasty and healthy meal options.

Very basic, heavy carb and not much meat or vegetables

More than half of my meals were under weight (some half the weight) and some meals stating 40 grams of protein had about 2 small pieces of chicken inside. Not confident at all that the macros are anyway bear as advertised. You get what you pay for I guess.

First of all, I was surprised at the value Healthy Living Kitchen meals offered. Much better than other meal prep/meal delivery companies in this department. The calories and macronutrients of each meal are fantastic. I was worried, due to the total weight of the meals, that I would be left hungry. This wasn't the case at all and meals were very filling.
The not so good - I found many of the meals too bland. At the expense of keeping calories super low, the food is not very well seasoned or sauced. I would gladly sacrifice 20 to 30 calories extra for a bit of sauce which won't make a big difference to nutrition, but a HUGE difference to flavour. I also feel each meal could do with custom cooking times and instructions, as the generic "7 minutes in the microwave" works well for some meals, but dries out and hardens others. Also, is the use of plastic containers necessary these days? It'd be nice to find a solution to this too.
I will order again and try some other meals to see if they taste better because the value and nutrition really is top notch. Taste could improve but just add a bit of low calorie sauce/seasoning and you're good to go.

We had previously ordered the Fitness package which was great value for money and really tasty meals. They were also substantial meals that kept us full for long.
We then moved on to try the regular meals and it is somewhat disappointing. If we had not first tried the fitness package first we would not have come back for the second order. The regular package seems to be the bare minimum and does not look anything like the pictures.

I’ve struggled years to get a healthy balanced, quick, easy, portion controlled and good quality meals, to help me with a calorie deficit diet until I came across healthy living kitchen…. Thank god I did too I am extremely happy with the meals, they taste good it’s a good portion the calories are low and it’s all very fresh. This works for my lifestyle. It takes the hassle of cooking and trying to keep variety in my diet as there’s soooo many options!. Delivery has been amazing and it’s always packed really well. I tried out the meals 10 for £22.50 and I’m so glad I did such good value for money!. Mums… if you are fed up of cooking for the little ones or just for the family there’s something for everyone too. Just putting in for my 3rd order 30 for £55 this gives me dinner sorted for the month. Thank you so much, healthy living kitchen I’ve lost 9lbs in 3 weeks just changing to your meals.

I have been ordering from Healthy Living Kitchen for a few months now and I can't recommend them enough. The food is wonderful, both healthy and delicious, and with the added bonus of being a really reasonable price you really can't go wrong. Delivery has always been spot on too.

Had these meals now for a while and can honestly say, they are such a lifesaver! Not only are they super tasty, but they are really affordable and have supported me to lose weight! Thanks Healthy Living Kitchen - highly recommended!
