If there had been a zero rating for Harron Homes, that would have been my review.
I strongly advise you to steer clear of them due to their inflated prices and ratings. Beneath all those falsehoods lies a group of crooks who are merely looking to get you to pay up and move in, only to move on to the next vulnerable individual once you are settled.
I bought my house and moved in December 2024, and during the inspection, we discovered a significant issue with the main bathroom. We notified them right away, and they instructed us not to use it, assuring us it would be addressed promptly.
However, all I have received are lies and blame-shifting between customer service and site managers.
It has now been 15 MONTHS, and we still cannot use our family bathroom, leaving my entire family of five to rely on our en-suite.
I have called, emailed, and expressed my frustrations, yet all I hear is apologies for the delay and that they are looking into it.
Another excuse they frequently use is, 'Sorry, some people left the business, which could be the reason for the delay.'
I am currently seeking legal counsel, and my bathroom is not the only problem. There are numerous defects in my house that have been overlooked. All they care about is getting that money in the bank, leaving you with unresolved issues.
If you want to avoid a disaster, save yourself the trouble and find a better builder.
AVOID, AVOID, AND AVOID!!!!
All the customers at my site, RIVERDALE PARK DONCASTER, are facing issues, some of which have persisted for over two years. AVOID them and protect your money for a more reliable builder.

We have met with quite a number of Harron Homes’ Staff and they have been friendly. We met Sylvia at the Holmewood office last year and she has given us a memorable experience. She is so professional and good at what she does. The way she celebrate our wins and how she handles and presents issues when we feel disappointed. She didn’t just show us how to get our first house. We dealt with Charlotte at Shipley Lakeside, and whilst we have decided to look elsewhere to be closer to family, we really wish we were buying from her as she was so lovely and helpful during our visits. She put us in touch with a mortgage advisor who we really like as well, so she's still helping us in our first time home buying experience. Would definitely recommend looking at these houses if it's a good area for you as Charlotte is wonderful and so helpful, and the area is fantastic!

We have recently reserved a plot at Laughton Gate.
Our sales man Josh, wow what can I say not only does he look the part with his smart uniform and friendly face he is the part.
Josh is patient and professional even when I have had to bring my toddler into the sales office he is calm and confident.
Josh is full of information and knows the sight of the back of his hand.
Josh is polite and approachable and I happy with our services so far .

From start to finish, the service provided by our Customer service manager Josh has been absolutely brilliant. He has been professional, approachable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Every question we had was answered quickly and clearly via the whatsapp group chat and he consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. His communication was excellent, keeping us informed with pictures of the build stage and making what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and well managed. We are extremely grateful for his dedication and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a Harron home.
The part exchange process was incredibly easy and straightforward from beginning to end. Everything was explained clearly by Josh, and the whole experience was handled in a very smooth and efficient way. What could have been a complicated and stressful situation was made simple and hassle-free, allowing us to focus on the excitement of moving into our new home. We’re very pleased with how seamless the whole part exchange process turned out to be.
The site manager Ian was extremely approachable and helpful throughout the home demo. He was willing to listen to any questions or concerns we had and made us feel comfortable raising even the smallest issues. When it came to addressing snags, he was proactive and more than happy to get them sorted quickly and efficiently, explaining to us that no new build will ever be perfect and will always require some afterwork. Having bought new houses before we already knew this but appreciated his honesty. His positive attitude and willingness to help made a real difference and gave us confidence that everything would be taken care of properly.

Im looking for my first house, called into Laughton Gate and met with Josh the sales executive who was very helpful. Compared to other new builds that ive been to see, the houses have better design and have more kerb appeal. Great first impression, I would recommend

I decided to downsize as my property was too big for me. On a whim I visited the Laughton Gate development and viewed a 3 bedroom property which was nearly finished. Josh the development representative gave me details of how Harron Homes could assist me in selling my property and advised me to visit the showroom at their Rossington development. I fell in love with the show home immediately and set the buying process in motion the next day. Josh has been very helpful and supportive throughout the process and keeps me up to date with pictures of my house through the building process. He explains everything in detail and has been very patient with me as its the first time I've purchased a house on my own. There's been no pushy salesman techniques used which nowadays is rare. I'm looking forward to moving into my new home in a few weeks time and begin a new chapter in my life. 😀

We have just brought a new house and recently moved in. Julie-Ann has been with us through the journey and made everything so easy. She has been a support and just completely looked after us including my 3 children who have come to really enjoy going to see her. The site manager John has been really helpful so far and has made us feel that if we were to have any issues we would be well supported. The house is lovely, the area is so calm and quiet and so far we are very happy with how Harron Homes have dealt with us.

The sales Rep on the site were very helpful. Any questions o site was no problem. Choosing the new furniture in the new house was no problem because they were advising us in a very helpful way.

From the initial contact with the sales agent Ricky, through to the new home tour and after move-in care from Julie Ann the process was smooth and stress free!. The onsite team, namely John, went above and beyond to ensure all snagging issues were dealt with quickly and without fuss. I would recommend Harron Homes to anyone looking to buy a new house!

I visited the showroom at Haworth looking to view properties in our price range. Michele was very helpful in showing two types of four bedroom houses. We have received a great experience working with Josh while purchasing our new build home at Laughton Gate. From the very beginning, he was professional, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable about the development and the buying process.

After deciding to sell our home due to job changes, we spent quite a while searching before finally finding our new home at Simpson Park.
We would like to say a big thank you to Michelle in the sales office, who has been a great support throughout the whole process, especially when we unfortunately lost our buyers. Michelle and her manager, Paul, were very understanding and always willing to help during what was a stressful time. We are really grateful to the both of them.
After the delay, we finally moved into our new home in December 2025 and overall it has been a positive experience. However, as expected with new builds, there have been a few snags that we are still working through. Scott and Matt at the site office, along with Caroline in customer services, have been helpful and supportive.
We are giving four stars because we are still experiencing some ongoing issues, mainly delays with subcontractor visits and getting certain snags sorted. We do appreciate everyone’s efforts and hope the remaining items will be resolved in a timely manner.

We complete in early feb and have been very happy with the whole process :) we went with the solicitors recommended by Charlotte and found them to be very responsive and quick! Laughton Gate....We moved in our new home the week before Christmas.
From our initial visit to the sales office and speaking with Josh who is friendly and knowledgeable the whole experience of purchasing our home was stress free, he kept us well informed at ever stage and was and still is on hand to answer any questions or queries we may have.
His calm, professional manner was reassuring throughout.
Our moving in handover/demo from Josh & Ian ( site manager) was friendly and informative.
It was also reassuring to know that moving so close to the Christmas break that there was the emergency contact in the event of any issues that may occur.
We have had a few snags that have been dealt with efficiently and smoothly, this is I feel through good communication between Josh & Ian who have coordinated and organised any issues to be resolved at a convenient time to us.
