“Harbourfront Is A Great Place Right In Front Of Lake Ontario!”
I grew up with Harbourfront growing up in the 1980's when they had the Adventure Playground where you could build houses and things out of wood and take them home with you which was a lot of fun!
During that time, they had Arts and Crafts Every Sunday and I believe they called their Sunday Event "Kaleidoscope" and I remember my mother and father used to take me there and we rarely missed a Sunday back then...
I even remember a girl named "Goldie" who was in charge of the Arts and Crafts back then. Wow...! Does this bring back Memories?
During that time, I also had the opportunity to attend their Harbourfront Daycamp as well!
Boy, things have changed so much!
The buildings have changed and I think the original pool is still there, however, where they make the arts and crafts is all in a separate building and now they even have their own specialty stores where you can buy things that they make.
I am not sure if they still have the Free Arts and Crafts Classes on Sundays, but I think that there are some classes that You Can Pay To Learn How To Make Things if you are interested.
Harbourfront also has many outdoor concerts with Live Music and Bands as well as other outdoor activities and much, much more!
I really enjoyed my day today back on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 because it was my Mother's 85th Birthday and this is the Very Special Place that she wanted to visit since it has been such a very long time for her and even for me since we last been out here and Harbourfront was definitely a Treat for the both of us.
I am so glad that Harbourfront still exists for the many generations to come and enjoy it while it is here!
