High-maintenance shower head and VERY POOR customer service
If I could give this showerhead 0 stars, I would. Stay away from it. Not only because it does not live up to the hype of the “QuickClean” but also because Hansgrohe service is DIRE.
We purchased this shower head (at what I now consider an exorbitant price for the lack of quality) a year ago, but due to building works, was only installed 6 months ago. I have lived in the UK for over 30 years and have a thorough understanding of how to keep shower heads clean. The QuickClean does not work properly. No matter how much you rub the jets, there is always a little water left behind, and herein lies the problem. The holes are so tiny, that limescale collects easily in them and blocks the jet. We wiped the jets every day. We cleaned with Viakal weekly. We also used lemon juice after the Viakal. It did not matter. After cleaning, within a day, the jets were clogged again and one of the jets actually came off.
We wrote to Hansgrohe and explained the situation. I (now mistakenly) sent a photo of the showerhead after taking it off the wall just before a weekly deep-cleaning, to demonstrate how quickly it gets clogged up. Rather than being helpful, Hansgrohe have insisted that I was not cleaning the shower head properly and refuse to change the showerhead. Please note – I did not ask for a refund, I only asked them to fix the problem. This complaint was ‘escalated’ to managers and I have included their response below. They admit that the limescale causes the problem but refuse to take any responsibility for the poor design of the jets. There are plenty of showers in the UK that do not have this issue. In 30 years of living here, I have never had a shower head that broke from limescale. I will never again purchase a Hansgrohe product if this is their idea of customer service.

I have received a response from the technical team in Germany.
They have reviewed the picture, videos and the overall enquiry and have informed me there is limescale on all the nozzles causing the small spray performance and the jets to go in different directions. They have also advised to use QuickClean or decalcify the shower head with citrus acid (lemon juice). Another method is to install a water softener system to reduce the limescale build-up. They have also not found the product to be defective, so they consider this not to be product fault.
We can no longer be of further assistance.

Great customer service
My Hansgrohe shower recently started dripping slightly from the head when turned off. I contacted their customer services, who quickly diagnosed the issue based on the information I provided, and sent out a replacement part under warranty.
No quibbling or messing around, they just sorted it.

We bought a shower unit 4 years ago and it started to leak from the mixer unit. I emailed Hansgrohe and explained the problem. I would like to express our sincere gratitude to the customer service team for dealing with our issue in such a courteous, quick and efficient manner. They offered a service engineer to come and look at the problem. The engineer was booked in promptly and he replaced a faulty cartridge free of charge on site. The service levels have been excellent and we would have no problem purchasing or recommending Hansgrohe products in future. Thank you

Responsive customer service and warranty period was honoured
We purchased a ShowerTablet 4.5 years ago. It recently started making whistling noises and the water pressure and temperature was fluctuating. We contacted Hansgrohe for technical support. Daniel responded quickly to our emails and arranged for a new hose to be sent to us. This has resolved the problems we were experiencing. We have been happy with the level of service provided by Daniel and Hansgrohe.

We have all the taps and mixers in the house from Hansgrohe.
This particular shower mixer snd bath fill kit costed us nearly £900 .
the hand held shower just came apart from the hose and Hansgrohe customer service department is blaming on the scale build up which is not the case as we regularly clean the mixers and taps . This was left on the side of the bath for a couple of weeks before i finally took a picture and sent it to customer service for them to approve the replacement. it only has slight scale watermarks. obviously is not new but if Hansgrohe is not prepared to honour the warranty period of 5 years as stated than this is misleading.

Leak on a new tap
After having a leaking on a new tap, and the retailer not being much use in resolving this I was passed over to hansgrohe. From start to finish they have been awesome, no messing around, a replacement cartridge was with me within a few days and when this didn't solve the issue, the tap was replaced. I would like to say thank you to Emma for being on point, resolving this issue with up most promptness and no fuss!
Great customer service from spare parts team
I needed a replacement chrome shower head holder for a raindance shower purchased in 2007/8. I didn't have the model number. I sent the spare parts department a description of the broken part and some photos. Within 24 hours they have sent me a link to enable me to purchase a replacement. The replacement came with clear instructions on how to fit it. Harriet, a Customer Technician, was very helpful and addressed follow up queries. Can't praise her too much.

The washer on my Hansgrohe bathroom…
The washer on my Hansgrohe bathroom sink pop up waste had deteriorated (over an 11 year year period!) so the basin was unable to hold water. Luckily I had kept the receipt from the time we had the bathroom fitted and was able to supply Hansgrohe with details of the basin mixer and photos of the pop up waste and the failed washer. Within a short space of time they were able to identify the washer required. I then placed an order for a replacement washer the same day. Thanks to Rebecca (and Hansgrohe) for very prompt and efficient service.
