Great experience
Really good experiences with Hachmann.de.
When I first placed my order, Hachmann.de came back to me and suggested that some of the plants I had selected would be better to plant in the spring instead of the autumn for best results. I have never experienced that before. Very appreciated.
Another great experience is their excellent packaging. They use wood shavings. Between the branches of the individual plants Hachmann push in wood shavings very densely so that the branches cannot move and break during transport.
They also pack these wood shavings around and in-between the plants so that the package actually bulges out a little. This makes it (almost) impossible for the often rough handling during transport to crush and break the package.
Finally, they also put plastic bags around the pots with the soil and tie them well to prevent soil from falling and drying out.
The only negative is that there is no choice of transporter for the customer. I have had so many bad experiences with very slow and poor handling of packages by some companies. It messes up my planning and sometimes damage the plants for lack of moisture, light and the right temperature. The default national carrier in Sweden, Postnord, is notoriously bad, also in this case.
With a choice of transporter this could be avoided and that would have given this a 5-star experience.
