Cannot recommend GW Removals enough. Excellent pricing, arrived on time, and extremely efficient.
The 2 removal men were polite, efficient, and took care of our belongings. On the day of our move the lift in the building we were moving to wasn’t working. This resulted in our move taking twice as long in 30 degree heat. The 2 removal men were fantastic, carrying furniture and boxes up flights of stairs.
Would absolutely use them in future and highly recommend their service.

This is a very very terrible and not trustworthy company. I made booking 2nd of July, quotation sent, advanced payment made 3rd of July, payment acknowledged. I was to move on the 25th of July, I called the company on the 24th to give heads up, I was told to wait for another two weeks or I get a refund because they realised there was a mistake with the price give initially. This company had more than two weeks to discover any error they didn’t, they rather waited less than 24hrs to deliver the service to tell me rubbish. I was shattered.
I can never recommend.

George is super nice and great and efficient communication. The guys were amazing, polite, friendly and very efficient. Whilst they were unloading I was able to actually get my kitchen unpacked.

They put everything in the rooms as I wanted, dismantled and assembled beds, dinner and garden tables and all my white goods.

Great services and great honest pricing and no hidden extras. Will definitely be using them again.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. Yes, they came in cheaper than others. Comms were good. Got off to late start due to vehicle issues. The guys doing the removals were lovely and hard working. However, they could have paid more attention to labelling- turning a box labelled "plants" on its side not very smart. My expensive soundbar has a couple of dents in it. I paid for the service of getting my tvs "wrapped" securely, thinking they would do a better job than i could. It turned out to be a couple of layers of bubble wrap, and that was it. I could have done a better job. The packaging wouldn't have cost what they charged. I did mention it at time of moving. I was clearly right about a little bubble wrap being insufficient. TV is now damaged and worthless and because I had so much going on, it took me a while to unwrap it and inspect, so no longer covered by their insurance. £800 down the drain.

I was living in the Suffolk area and needed to move house. I found many deals online, but they all quoted £1000. I found you, GW Moving Company, for a reasonable price and I was very pleased. I moved to London and they were very fast. Thank you, I will use you again for my future moves.

George Wade put a quote together for my removal, which i sent over a full video of my place as well as inventory list. When the men arrived, they started putting things in van and then decided to let me know it wouldn't all fit, meaning priority items were left behind. When I messaged George on the day about this, he said "Yeah but can’t make the.Van bigger can i" when I told him I had sent over a full video and inventory. When I queried this further, he said "Can’t be more than a medium van load I get u a price" meaning he had quoted us incorrectly and for a van too small (no offering of alternative van sizes were given) as well as the solution - "I have someone that can come at 1pm £150 or just ask my guys if they can come back for £150". Brilliant.
The guys doing the actual move were good, quick and respectful but one of them didn't speak English (or very limited) which caused confusion. In the end, we had to do 2 full trips of a rented van and car in order to move the rest of our stuff. It went from them going from the cheapest removal to one of the most expensive.

In summary - buy cheap, buy twice
