Reached out to GT , to make an online purchase and made an inquiry about what paperwork is accepted for honorably discharged veterans. They say they can’t take “va paperwork” , only a dd-214. Now, I questioned that, due to the fact that a dd-214 has social security number on it. I also added that both the service verification letter and the proof of service cards contain the veterans discharge type. They doubled down and said they do not take “va paperwork” due to it not containing the veterans discharge status. Where do veterans often go to get their dd-214? That’s right, THE VA. So, isn’t a dd-214 also considered “va paperwork”? I was very reluctant to send my dd after I spoke to customer service. They were not professional by any standard. They were not tactful, and they seemed very lazy. I sent my dd-214 after I redacted my social security number, and I also requested to speak with management. They have not responded, and I suspect that they will never respond, because that would take accountability and some level of professional maturity. I would be very careful if you’re sending in any sort of sensitive information , to place an order online or by phone. Due to the attitude and manner of their “customer service” representative, I would not be surprised if there’s ID theft going on, among their representatives. Just another scam to screw veterans .
And since there is no direct number to their management, all calls go directly to the same one or two people, and those one or two people have zero intention on making sales, period. So, I left a review on Yelp. Someone named Jim responded , from GT. Jim states that the reason they absolutely have to have a dd-214 is because it shows discharge status, but VA documents do not. That is a flat out lie, Mr Jim. There are two other documents , one that includes the veterans DOD ID number , that also show discharge status. Something in my gut tells me they are bad business. Also, it’s been over 24 hours since I sent my redacted dd-214, and asked to speak with leadership, and they have not responded . Looks a little guilty to me.

It was an absolute pleasure working with the customer service rep: Naomi Bolanos, she swiftly responded with great care and accuracy and helped me obtain my handgun that I had purchased during the great glock scare of 2025 (during the V model crisis).

On approximately 02/22/2024, I tried to purchase a Glock 17. On about 02/24/2024 I got a notice that they had no record of my dealer's license. I traveled there, gave him the email and he immediately emailed a copy of his license. Having not heard anything I sent an email asking about my order. Got no response Sent another email, still no response. Went online and my purchase was no longer listed. My payment was never processed. I would have had no problem if they had contacted me and allowed me to correct the problem, but no response. No one bothers to check email. Since my original review, the dealer has explained the problem to my satisfaction and I have received the purchase in a reasonable amount of time. I can understand miscommunication and apparently they were not receiving my original messages to the proper department, but once they did, it was resolved.

I recently purchased a handgun it was ordered after 12 noon on a Tuesday and my ffl received on Wednesday before noon . Blazing fast also the handgun was as described and i am pleased with it. Also my ffl was not on their list but I spoke with a young lady at GT and she suggested what to do and that was taken care of. A true business and operated like one!

This past week I have tried to purchase a Glock Model 34 Generation 5 Pistol from GT Distributors in Rossville Georgia through their Blue Label Program which is a small discount on pistols for present and former Law Enforcement and other Public Safety People. I sent in a Photo Copy of my Deputy Sheriff ID (I was a Deputy Sheriff for 15 years in Morristown Tn).

I talked to a gruff sounding and not very polite male on the phone and he informed me that he did not think the Glock Company would approve my purchase of the pistol but didn't give me a reason why he thought that.

A couple of days later I received an email message from GT Distributors asking me to complete my purchase. So, I filled out the requested information including my name and address along with my Debit Card Information and the FFL Dealer for them to send the Firearm to.

It has now been several days and I have not heard the smallest "peep" out of anyone from GT Distributors about my Glock 34 purchase. I am accustomed to dealing with professional companies and it is now my opinion that the people at GT Distributors are no where close to being professionals.

So, I say shame, shame and shame again on the more than shameful behavior of the sales people at GT Distributors. I cannot recommend GT Distributors to anyone that is interested in purchasing a firearm.

PS: I plan to contact the Glock Company and explain to them the unprofessional conduct that I experienced from GT Distributors!

I’ve shopped at the Rossville Ga store since 1997. I’ve spent an obnoxious amount of money with this company. Based on their current employees I will never spend another dime with them. They have a couple of good guys left. Bruce and some of the new kids they have are enough to keep me from ever giving the company another penny or another second of my time. Will not ever recommend to anyone.

I bought 2 Glock over the weekend only bummer was i missed the fed ex pick up til monday so i had to wait til monday for them to ship but got em in 2 days like promised (and they looked great cant wait to get to range) i dealt with a Aaron in customer service (as i was told that there's a Aaron that works there as well I'm sure hes a nice guy as well) but he was very knowledgeable about the products made placing the order very easy over the phone as i still like to talk to a human when buying things so just wanted to give Aaron a shout out for awesome customer service its almost non existent nowadays

I love everything that I have purchased from you. And the service has been great.
